"MUNICH 1997 AUDIENCE RECORDING" is a CD containing the audience recording version of "MUNICH 1997". There is an audience recording from the same day of the 1997 Munich performance that will be released this time, but this is a rare sound source that is not widely available among traders, so naturally it cannot be found even if you search on the internet. Of course, the fact that most of the live shows were aired on the radio was a big factor, but even more so was the fact that most of the recordings contained noise like metal sounds. Perhaps there was a problem with the connection to the microphone during recording, and the taper continued recording without noticing the problem. Something that can be inferred. This unique texture of noise started to become noticeable around “Some Might Say”, and when it became “Don’t Look Back In Anger”, it eroded into the performance. Although it is a precious audience recording containing all songs, I can't help but understand that the distribution among traders is extremely low. Even so, since the song that was not broadcast was still being heard among overseas enthusiasts, a longer version was made with the original sound source, but as expected, the noise was left unattended and was played with "It's Gettin' Better (Man! !)", it was making a loud noise. However, from "Fade In-Out", the noise finally subsides (however, it recurs after the performance), so I can certainly understand the feeling of maniacs trying to use it as a supplementary staff. But this time, the sound becomes far away. Perhaps the poor microphone connection was resolved when the taper changed its position and moved. This is ironic because instead, the sound becomes further away. What's more, at the beginning and end, there is evidence that Noel's speaking was reversed and overdubbed onto the sound source. If you're an enthusiast, don't miss out on this valuable resource, which is indispensable for understanding the whole story of Munich!
