The legendary stereo soundboard sound source of Oasis at the height of their power in 1996 is now available in a luxurious double feature! These are two titles that you definitely can't miss, whether you're a regular Oasis fan or not! These are great sound sources recommended for all rock fans! First of all, this is the Cardiff performance on March 18th, which is a classic among the many 1996 live sound sources and is also highly regarded as one of Oasis' best performances! On this day, a recording for radio broadcast was made and even a transcription disc was produced, so there is a stereo soundboard sound source with perfect sound quality, and it has truly become a classic as the most popular live sound source in Oasis history. Moreover, the high tension that can't help but be called "This is 1996!" is exquisite, and it remains an eternal masterpiece because it is a sound source that combines both sound quality and content. Naturally, this wonderful sound source has produced many items up to the present, but now all of those already released titles have had some kind of problem. Considering that the original was a radio broadcast, it is a strange phenomenon, and just touching on them would fill up a page on the website. So, before this release, let me briefly introduce the history of this live recording. First, the first live release was "THE FAB FIVE" on the OXYGEN label. Although the content and sound quality were praised, the second half of the live performance was not recorded. After that, "J.I.L.Y. [Unreleased Live Album]" was released under the guise of a Creation label, and is considered to be the definitive version that finally recorded the entire broadcast. On the other hand, as was pointed out from the beginning of the release, the sound quality deteriorated in the parts that were not recorded on "THE FAB FIVE," which is the highlight, and it was clear that the content was not the original broadcast but "THE FAB FIVE" + α. "MM TWO ALONE" on the Bayswater label, which was released in 2016 and was touted to have solved this problem, was rather the most subtle, with the sound quality deteriorating. Although many other items have been released under the name of "J.I.L.Y.", none of them were broadcast masters, but were just like comparing two acorns by modifying the original "J.I.L.Y.". And in 2021, the Empress Valley version of "J.I.L.Y." finally realized a careful CD from the broadcast master... but the label added excessive equalization to the sound source that the fan remastered the precious broadcast master and uploaded it to the Internet, and even increased the sound pressure, which was a disappointing finish. In this way, past items can be roughly divided into "THE FAB FIVE" + α, or broadcast masters... but with disappointing equalization. It is hard to believe that there were no items properly recorded from the original broadcast master. However! This time, we have realized the recording from the broadcast master transcription disc "COCA-COLA PLANET LIVE" that fans all over the world have been waiting for. This means that the release is guaranteed on a stereo sound board with the highest sound quality, but in fact, in 1996, the sound pressure was high and the finish was a Nori waveform specification. Therefore, this time, we carried out a super detailed restoration from the stage of the broadcast master. First, the sound source was decomposed into 8 tracks of snare, toms, cymbals, kick drum, bass, guitar, vocals, and audience cheers using the latest AI technology. From there, we made adjustments for each track and performed a simple mix once to create a sound source with a natural and extended texture rather than a Nori waveform. This is the first stage. Then, in the second stage, we added a finishing remastering to this mixed-down sound source, and finished it into a perfect mix with the power of Oasis while maintaining the natural texture that is not a Nori waveform. And the third stage. The work is not over yet. In fact, in the first broadcast master recording, there were parts where Noel's guitar exceeded the peak value, and there was a chronic problem of clipping noise occurring from the right channel in more than a hundred places. This time, they were checked one by one and thoroughly eliminated by hand. There has never been a title that solved this clipping noise problem. And yet, this is the first time that Cardiff has been so natural yet powerful! The work and finish that has been so particular is truly a work of art, and I assure you that it is worth listening to this title even if you sell off the already released version that recorded this Cardiff performance! In front of the overwhelming finish this time, it makes you wonder what on earth was the previous "J.I.L.Y." release that many fans have become familiar with. Also, even in the same 1996, Main Road and Knebworth have the major premise of being "events", so it is natural that the performance is fulfilling. However, this Cardiff is a normal arena gig, but the significance is that the high tension and perfect performance were recorded on the best stereo sound board. I have written quite a bit about the precision of the sound source production, but next is the content of the live performance. This is also a super famous performance that is the peak of the career history. Nowadays, "Donluck" seems to be Noel's exclusive song for encouraging the audience to sing along, but in 1996, it was overwhelmingly "Wonderwall". In Cardiff, the chorus was so amazing that Noel only sang a little of the A-melody and the end, and the rest of the song was accompanied by the audience's chorus, which was a great scene. It is also great that the moving scene was captured with perfect sound quality. Furthermore, the mix of the performance is exquisite, and Noel and Bonehead's guitars are separated into left and right and are heard with great force. In particular, the guitar parts of the two in "Round Are Way / Up In The Sky" and "Morning Glory" remind us that they were a combination just like Keith Richards and Ron Wood. Among the many live recordings from 1996, there is no other recording that allows you to hear Noel's phrases that are typical of this period and Bonehead, who can be said to be a model of rhythm guitar, so realistically as this one. And finally, additional information. This live recording was thought to be the second day of the performance on March 19, 1996, but in recent years it has been revealed that this was in fact incorrect. This is because Noel said "Newcastle won tonight" before "Slide Away" about Newcastle, who were the top of the Premier League at the time, but it was revealed that the match they won was on the 18th, and this live performance was also the first day of the performance on the 18th. Not only will this be a shocking release that will wipe out the items that have overflowed in the past, but it is literally the definitive version that will overturn the conventional wisdom! As mentioned above, it has been produced from scratch, including meticulous restoration, so like the previous Oasis titles, it is not a copy release of the Internet source at all. The first day of Cardiff in 1996, the most popular in Oasis history in both content and sound quality, is exactly what Liam's catchphrase "Biblical" (translation: like the Bible), which is also the title of this release, is worthy of. It is already beyond definitive and has a biblical quality.
