The 1995 Glastonbury Festival is a rare masterpiece in Oasis' live history. Although it was a live performance that was blessed with good material as it was broadcast on radio and television, the videos currently available on YouTube are in poor condition. Despite being the most important presence in the 1995 Oasis live video, I have to say that the current situation is grave. This DVD-R is an attempt to make a difference in this situation in a way unique to Japan, and includes the version that was broadcast in Japan in March 1996, when Oasis' popularity began to explode. Originally, the live video of Glastonbury 95 did not broadcast all the songs from that day, and in addition, "Cigarettes And Alcohol" was cut from the Japanese broadcast version, but the image quality cannot be compared to the version on YouTube. Clear. As a matter of fact, this Japanese broadcast version was also valued among overseas enthusiasts, and was even adopted as a pseudo-complete online release "BONEHEAD'S BIRTHDAY PARTY" that combines the TV broadcast and the audience shot footage of the day. However, the image quality of the version used there had deteriorated after it crossed the ocean (dubbing), which was disappointing from a Japanese perspective. However, what we are releasing this time is a direct DVD-R from the master VHS that recorded the broadcast at that time, so we will compare it with the versions seen on YouTube earlier and the parts used in "BONEHEAD'S BIRTHDAY PARTY". Of course, the audio is stereo. On this day, Liam's hoodie appearance was very impressive, while Noel's elegant appearance as he played the guitar in a duffel coat captured the look of a time when his popularity was rapidly increasing but he had not yet become a big name. It is also valuable because of the fact that it is Also, during the intro to ``Some Might Say,'' Liam goes to hug someone on the side of the stage, and Noel, who is bothered by the camera that is closing in on him just like he did at Glastonbury last year, shows no affection for the camera, and other great performances. There are many interesting scenes that go beyond just that. As I mentioned at the beginning, "Cigarettes And Alcohol" was cut out when it was broadcast in Japan, but to make up for it, valuable footage was shown at the end. From the second performance in Japan, "Supersonic" in Ebisu ”. This station filmed the same song and "Hello" in Ebisu, and each scene was broadcast from time to time. At this time, it was "Supersonic", and above all, it is extremely valuable as one of the few professional shot videos that captures Oasis' second performance in Japan. And in between, there is a corner where you can look back on Oasis at that time, and the fact that the latest single was "Don't Look Back In Anger" is valuable because it reminds you of those days. Also unique to those days was the live clip of ``Wonderwall'' from the first day of Earl's Court in 1995, which was widely broadcast on music programs. And the bonus includes footage of Oasis' live performance at Glastonbury the previous year. This was also an incomplete broadcast in 1994 with only three songs, but the BBC has newly broadcast a complete version to look back on Glastonbury, which was canceled last year due to the corona vortex. Not only has all the songs finally been broadcast, but since it was broadcast last year, the image quality is perfect. The level is comparable even if it is officially released as it is. The image quality is so clear that you can clearly see the looks of each member (lol) that have not improved in 1995. For example, in close-up, you can clearly see Liam's dental treatment marks and Tony McCarroll's blue eyes. What's more, it's only been two months since their debut, so it's funny to see the unevenness of their skill level depending on the song. In "Digsy's Dinner" and "Bring It On Down," you can hear a pretty coherent performance, but when it comes to other songs, it's funny that there is a lack of unity and momentum. As a result, we have created the strongest pairing, with footage of Glastonbury in 1994, when it was fresh, and 95, when the style of the champion started to drift, recorded in the best quality!
