The tour for BE HERE NOW began in July 1997 and was a large-scale event with a total of 82 performances until March 1998. The most unforgettable for Japanese fans will be the three consecutive performances at the Budokan in February 1998. After one performance in Japan and one in Hong Kong, the stage moves to Australia. This work is a complete recording of the Sydney performance in Australia with a high-quality audience recording. The main performance is the Sydney performance recorded from DISC ONE to the first half of DISC TWO. There are many highlights, and the outro jam of "Champagnse Supernova" is a must-listen development comparable to the famous Budokan performance just before. "Some Might Say" is actually performed in Noel's acoustic corner. Speaking of the acoustic version of this song, it can be said that it was performed on MTV Unplugged, but it is interesting that the version you can listen to here is a different version from that unplugged version. And the members who appeared for the encore performed a very unusual but interesting sideshow before the song. The members mixed up each instrument and performed an improvisation (jam). Noel played drums, Liam played guitar, and Bonehead played keyboards, making this a very rare performance that had only been performed on this day in the band's long history. The second half of DISC TWO contains two bonus tracks from Noel's acoustic set when he supported Paul Weller's live performance in the summer of 1998, both of which are first-time recordings. You can listen to rare songs that are unique to support acts, such as Noel's cover of "To Be Someone" in front of Weller and an acoustic version of "D'You Know What I Mean?". DISC THREE contains the Adelaide performance on the first day of the Australian tour. This is also a first-time recording. What's interesting is that they play Led Zeppelin's "Heartbreaker" in the intro to "It's Getting Better (Man!!)". In the Sydney performance on DISC ONE, Led Zeppelin's "Whole Lotta Love" is added to the outro of "Cigarettes And Alcohol", but in Adelaide, it is "It's Getting Better (Man!!)" with "Heartbreaker" as the intro. (It's not "Hakata Yamakasa Onna Bushi" at all). The two opening performances of Weller recorded in the second half of DISC TWO and the Adelaide performance on DISC THREE are the first appearances of the sound source. And the previously released board that recorded the Sydney performance recorded on the main DISC ONE and the first half of DISC TWO goes back more than 20 years, but it was difficult to listen to because of the intermittent digital noise. This work is based on the master DAT source and has no such noise. ENTERTAINMENT CENTER, SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA March 3, 1998 DISC ONE 01. Be Here Now 02. Stand By Me 03. Supersonic 04. Roll With It 05.
