1989's NUCLEAR ASSAULT embodied the ideal form of crossover thrash with their masterpiece "HANDLE WITH CARE". The out-of-print official footage is being reprinted in the highest quality version. The out-of-print footage is a multi-camera pro shot of the "Hammersmith Odeon performance on October 4, 1989". Yes, it's the legendary live video "HANDLE WITH CARE EUROPEAN TOUR '89"! Another official video, "HAMMERSMITH ODEON 1987", also appears, but that was during the "GAME OVER" era. This work is from a completely different "HANDLE WITH CARE" era. It's a good opportunity to look back on the schedule at that time. 1989 January 9th: Offenbach performance February 13th-March 6th: Europe #1 (17 performances) April 10th: London performance May 19th-20th: Sao Paulo (2 performances) September 16th: New Rochelle performance September 29th-October 28th: Europe #2 (27 performances) ←★Here★《HANDLE WITH CARE released on November 23rd》 November 15th-December 18th: North America #1 (29 performances) 1990 March 21st-May 2nd: North America #2 (35 performances) June 24th-29th: First visit to Japan (5 performances) July 7th-16th: North America #3 (10 performances) This is NUCLEAR ASSAULT in 1989/1990. The legendary first visit to Japan is also a memorable place, but the Hammersmith performance of this work was about 8 months before that. It was the sixth concert of "Europe #2". This show is also on the official live album "LIVE AT THE HAMMERSMITH ODEON", but for some reason it was an incredibly short length of about 34 minutes. In contrast, the video version was a masterpiece in which the full-scale live performance was broken down for over 60 minutes. Moreover, this work was made into a DVD from the best master of such official footage. In the first place, the original "HANDLE WITH CARE EUROPEAN TOUR '89" has not yet been made into an official DVD, and even at that time there was only VHS and no laser disc. Few people were able to come across the very few VHS imported at that time, and it is extremely difficult to find a mint quality version nowadays. Some of the data digitized overseas is available, but they all have some drawbacks. The entire tape is twisted and unstable, or the resolution is reduced to cover it up. Or even if the overall quality is high, there may be fatal deterioration in some parts, or the sound may have dropped in several places... Many people have never seen a master in perfect condition for over 30 years. This work is the perfect version that makes such a dream come true. There are none of the defects mentioned above, and the screen and sound are super beautiful throughout the entire work. Given the situation, it should only be a VHS copy, but the beauty of the work raises doubts one after another, such as "Was there an LD version released?" and "Was it broadcast digitally recently?" Such visual beauty depicts the ideal image of crossover thrash. As mentioned above, it is much longer than the official live album "LIVE AT THE HAMMERSMITH ODEON", so let's also check which songs have been added. Handle With Care (9 songs) F? (Wake Up) (★) / When Freedom Dies (★) / New Song / Critical Mass / Torture Tactics / Trail Of Tears / Mother's Day / Emergency (★) / Funky Noise Survive (7 songs) Rise From The Ashes (★) / Brainwashed (★) / F# (★) / Fight To Be Free (★) / Survive / Technology (★) / Equal Rights (★) Others (6 songs) Game Over: My America / Hang The Pope / Lesbians The Plug: Game Over / Nightmares / Butt Fuck (You Figure It Out) *Note: The ★ marks are songs that could not be heard on the official CD "LIVE AT THE HAMMERSMITH ODEON". ...And so on. Since they once released an official video during the "GAME OVER" era (you can see it in our "HAMMERSMITH ODEON 1987"), there are fewer early numbers, and "SURVIVE" and "HANDLE WITH CARE" are condensed and reduced in a spectacular way. In particular, 9 out of the 12 songs from "HANDLE WITH CARE" are played on a large scale, and it is no exaggeration to say that this is the video version of that masterpiece. No, the live performance, which was blown up by the stage tension, surpasses the studio work, and this work is NUCLEAR ASSAULT's masterpiece. The main live performance alone is enough, but this work also adds even more delicious bonus footage. The three video clips produced in the golden age, "Brainwashed", "Critical Mass" and "Trail Of Tears", are recorded in the highest quality version. As a band with a low official archive, the image quality is blurry even on a certain major video site, but this work is the highest peak version of the official class and you can enjoy valuable PVs. NUCLEAR ASSAULT was one of the few "metal crossover bands" in the crossover thrash genre, where hardcore bands often approach metal. This is an out-of-print official video that allows you to enjoy their peak period in superb footage. This work is the pinnacle of the subgenre "crossover thrash", which goes beyond the dimension of one band. It is an absolute masterpiece. The out-of-print official video "HANDLE WITH CARE EUROPEAN TOUR '89" of the "October 4, 1989 Hammersmith Odeon performance" has been made into a DVD from the best master. You can enjoy the show of the "HANDLE WITH CARE" era in superb quality with no deterioration such as high-pitched audio, white line noise, tape twist, etc. Furthermore, three precious PVs from that time are covered in official quality. This is the best masterpiece of NUCLEAR ASSAULT...no, the music genre "crossover thrash". Hammersmith Odeon, London, UK 4th October 1989 PRO-SHOT (72:50) 1. F? (Wake Up) 2. When Freedom Dies 3.
