The 2023 Wythenshawe Park concert was originally streamed for a limited time, making it difficult to access. In fact, only a few songs are available on YouTube, and some people may have already forgotten about the video. If that's the case, the inclusion of this video would make "DEFINITIVE MANCHESTER 2023" a complete set. So, we've created a DVD of professionally shot footage from Noel's 2023 Manchester homecoming concert, which is no longer readily available. Naturally, the footage was officially recorded and then streamed, so the image quality is impeccable. In contrast to the intimate, pop-infused sound of "COUNCIL SKIES," the footage captures the excitement of the local crowd, even in the vast venue. Also featured are memorable moments throughout the concert, including drummer Chris Sharrock spinning his sticks during a break. It's also interesting to note that the Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola, a figure that was also featured on the reunited Oasis stage, is now positioned differently than it is now. I hate to say it, but since this was filmed two years ago, Noel looks slimmer than he is now... and that's something you can really see in the video. When they started with the Oasis number "Going Nowhere," they made you think they were going to play "Stand By Me" before actually playing the B-side... a feint MC only possible after 23 years. And what's even more moving on video is the finale, the full chorus version of "Don't Look Back In Anger."
