NIRVANA, who had been playing fierce club shows during their indie days, has decided to release the best footage of the scene. This work was filmed at the Tacoma performance on January 20, 1990. It was the month after the release of the EP "BLEW" and four months before Chad Channing left. It was just before they were about to go major. This work, which contains such a show, is special in both quality and content. It is classified as a "one-camera audience shot", but this work has nothing to do with "professionals" or "audiences". In fact, this work was filmed by someone related to the band, and was shot from the side of the stage right next to Krist Novoselic. Therefore, the line of sight is completely at the same height as the band, and it is captured with such a close feeling that you can reach out and touch it. Moreover, the video and sound are extremely beautiful. Although it is a video shoot due to the era, it has been digitized directly from the 1st Gene Master, and there is almost no deterioration over time or dubbing. There is no noise, no distortion, and the images are glossy and vivid. Of course, the sound is also extremely clear. Although the balance is not ideal because of the unnatural shooting position beside the stage, it is a perfect mood for the related parties. On the other hand, the clarity is also amazing because it is a related party. The tremendous chaos of the audience can be clearly seen from the screen, but this work is in a position where you can see it from the stage. There is no chaotic noise at all, and the PA sound nearby is directly and stably sucked in. When it comes to between songs, there is a threatening noise, but once the guitar sounds, they are all drowned out, and NIRVANA's tremendous roaring art is beautifully recorded without distortion. The heat of the club scene, like magma about to erupt, is depicted with such exquisite related party quality. NIRVANA themselves have the same style as after their major debut, but the people who gather at the scene are completely different. If the audience is even slightly reflected, people fly and swirl like the Naruto Strait. In front of the stage, security formed a line of walls, and a black tsunami crashed into the breakwater. Among them, the one who was particularly rampaging was none other than Matt Lukin of MUDHONEY. He jumped onto the stage again and again and fought with the security. Such a tense mood also involved NIRVANA on stage. Kurt's intense headbanging was out of the ordinary, and the sense of desperation in his singing voice was always abnormal. The awesomeness was slammed into the entire song, but the mood became especially dangerous after "Scoff". The audience (?) started fighting with each other at the venue, and the live performance was no longer possible. Kurt seemed to be saying "Hey, stop it," and the scene was beyond the limit. Perhaps to ease the atmosphere, Chris also started singing the Beatles' "All You Need Is Love" and "If I Fell." To be honest, it sounds like drunk people singing on the street, but even that forced, carefree mood is poignant and real. The music is intense and the mood is fierce. It's magma. The chaos of anger and dissatisfaction that swept the world and repainted it was concentrated in a small club. This is a rare historical video that allows you to experience that heat in ultra-clear terms from the perspective of those involved. At the beginning of the 90s, rock once again became a music of energy. Live at Legends, Tacoma, WA. USA 20th January 1990 1. School 2. Floyd The Barber 3. Love Buzz 4. Dive 5. Scoff 6.
