"impact". These two words are often used so often that they even feel a bit trite, but this is a soundboard album that will show you their true meaning. The shocking protagonist we will be introducing tonight is the 90's phenomenon NIRVANA. This is a live album that records the truth of the "February 19, 1992 Nakano Sunplaza performance" from their only one performance in Japan. This live was a standard sound source that has been known for its leaked sound board for some time and has produced many previous releases. However, this work is neither a copy nor a remaster of those previous releases. It is truly the original DAT master that became the source of all of them... Before delving into the content of their sound, let's take a look at their only performance in Japan. ・February 14th: Osaka International Exchange Center ・February 16th: Nagoya Club Quattro ・February 17th: Club Citta Kawasaki ・February 19th: Nakano Sunplaza [This work] This is how they perform in Japan There were only four live performances. This work is on the final day. This work evokes such one and only “Japanese live” from the original DAT. Its identity is told more than anything by its audio. The existing group started with Kurt Cobain's devastating feedback, but this work is completely recorded from the trial playing scene more than 1 minute before that. The sound in this scene is unstable, which is probably why it was cut in previous releases, but this is proof of Omoto DAT. Furthermore, the atmosphere that goes beyond mere evidence is wonderful. The reason for the instability was probably because the PA console was also being adjusted, but the sense of urgency was felt intensely through this as well. Although the cheers are not big because it is a sound board directly connected to the table, the atmosphere of the venue that is excited by the appearance of the members is also well recorded. It's been 5 months since the release of the 90's masterpiece... no, the phenomenal album "NEVERMIND". There was a sense of urgency from the audience as they were about to witness an encounter with “new rock” that had not been seen in a long time. THE BEATLES, LED ZEPPELIN, IRON MAIDEN, METALLICA... Various "encounters" have been recorded in the history of Western music in Japan, but even though times and generations have changed, this atmosphere of enthusiasm and confusion remains. remains unchanged. The moment when the "door to a new era" opens is clearly engraved. There is also other evidence of the original DAT. The pop venue BGM after the show is also included for a long time, but "Aneurysm" is more than that. The recording becomes distorted near the ending and cuts out like a bad contact. I didn't remember this kind of disturbance in the previous episodes, but when I listened to it again, I realized that the previous episodes were interlocking with other parts, and were blending together as if nothing had happened. It's a major flaw as a musical work, and given the feeling at the time that it was just "one of the many outside talent shows," it would be natural to correct it. However, in order to convey the truth of "NIRVANA in Japan" that never happened again, in this work we have transferred it to CD without changing even a single note while keeping it contained in the original DAT. The sound that shines beyond these “original proofs” is the sound that runs throughout this work. Previous releases have had strong equalization typical of the 90s, but this work has the sound of the original DAT itself. The "sound" that was being emitted from the PA that was playing in the venue was completely contained. The realism of the natural and raw sound. Although ``NEVERMIND'' is a phenomenal record that changed the world, it is now said to be a ``sound created'' with some commercialism. This album is also packed full of famous songs from ``NEVERMIND'' (8 songs, 2/3 of the album!), but there is no hesitation in performing on the stage in the Far East, where record companies can't see. It contains exactly 100% of the sounds and singing voices that Kurt wants to make. This, this is the life of this work. The noise of violence and every single word of the lyrics spewed out is so real that it gets screwed into your brain without any intervention. This work is not just "Japan's last truth." Currently, research is progressing and their live schedule has been revealed, but this work is the 95th performance out of 172 performances in their career. NIRVANA's history revolved around the huge success of "NEVERMIND", but this Japan performance was at the center of their entire career, and it was one month after "NEVERMIND" was announced as number one in the United States. What's more, after his performance in Japan, Kurt heads to Hawaii and marries Courtney Love, who changes his life. This work takes place just five days before that. Kurt's life is generally in a negative mood, but this is a moment of light that shines through. A moment before being swallowed up by a huge wave while achieving huge success. It's packed with live music. NIRVANA and Kurt Cobain can no longer be called a “phenomenon.” “February 1992” was a time when music around the world was making a huge swell, and the life of the man who was supposed to be the main character changed. This is a 100% realistic recording of the "true sound" that was echoing in that moment. A live album that exposes all of the most important moments in rock history. It's like the original meaning of the overused word "shock" has been transformed into a sound. Live at Nakano Sunplaza, Tokyo, Japan 19th February 1992 STEREO SBD(from Original Masters) (61:14) 01.
