This CD features a pairing of the first performance at the Osaka International House Center on February 14th and the second performance at Nagoya Club Quattro on February 16th, taken from the now-legendary 1992 Japan tour. The Osaka performance, in particular, was released on CD directly from the original DAT master by the prestigious Kinney. This master is a longer version, about five minutes longer than the previously released recording, including the enthusiastic encore awaiting moments. Furthermore, because it was recorded on DAT, considered the best equipment at the time, its directness is on a different level than previous sources. While the Nagoya performance lacks clarity slightly compared to the Kinney Osaka recording, the intimacy of a 500-person club gig is astounding, and is overwhelming from the opening soundcheck scene. And of course, the set is centered around that "NEVERMIND," and especially in Osaka, they played all the songs on the album except for "In Bloom," "Stay Away," and "Endless, Nameless," while in Nagoya "Dumb" was only on this day, and both sets were different, and above all, they only performed a total of four times in Japan, including the Tokyo performance after this, so here is the best existing master of the live performance, which can be said to be a valuable record heritage.
