The final one to conclude the “Japan performance trilogy” has been decided to be released. NIRVANA, a revolutionary in the 1990s, came to Japan only once, in February 1992. There were a total of four performances, but records of three of them have now been discovered. Let's clean things up a bit here. ・February 14th: Osaka International Exchange Center “OSAKA 1992” ・February 16th: Nagoya Club Quattro [This work] ・February 17th: Club Citta Kawasaki ・February 19th: Nakano Sun Plaza “TOKYO 1992” That’s all , 4 performances are all of “NIRVANA at Japan”. Our store has also delivered "OSAKA 1992", which was reprinted from Kinney's original cassette, and "TOKYO 1992", which uses the original DAT of the leaked soundboard, but there is only one more left. That is this work, the audience album of “February 16, 1992: Nagoya Club Quattro Performance”. Although it is a recording that has been known for a long time, its quality is a wonderful audience sound. As expected, it is not as good as “OSAKA 1992” and “TOKYO 1992”, but it can not be helped if you compare it with the abnormal level of Kinney recording masterpieces and direct-to-table soundboards. If you think about it by normal standards, it's a perfectly clear masterpiece recording. Maybe it's because of the on-site PA, it gets a little cagey in the last few songs, but if it weren't for that, it would even come close to a Kinney recording. The Nagoya performance depicted with such a sound has a completely different mood from Osaka and Tokyo. It is overwhelming from the opening sound check scene. The venue, “Nagoya Club Quattro,” is a small club with a capacity of about 500 people, but the feeling of being in a closed room and close contact is amazing. Even in Osaka on the first day, which was a hall class, and in Tokyo on the last day, there was a whirlwind of shock at encountering "new rock," but it was further compressed. It's filled with the scorching atmosphere of an authentic American underground club, and a chaotic, dark nirvana. However, I don't know about Osaka or Tokyo, and I can't believe what I'm saying from this work. It's amazing that even though such enthusiasm is raging, the loud and thick band sound overwhelms everything and does not give up the leading role at all. At the beginning of "Lithium," a huge chorus erupts, and as the performance intensifies, a scream-like scream erupts, and even that is crushed by the heavy ensemble... It fills the room with an ``smelling heaviness'' that is different from heavy metals. The set list is also a little different from Osaka and Tokyo, and they will also perform a rare song "Dumb" that was only available on this day. ``OSAKA 1992'' was not only the first time in Japan, but also the first time in Asia, and ``TOKYO 1992'' was full of fulfillment and was successful in the Far East as well. This is a rich live album that is different from either of those. This is a "Japan performance trilogy" that not only completes the records of Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka, but also has each individual performance rich in individuality. This is the final volume.
