From their album debut in 1982 to the present, NIGHT RANGER has delighted fans with their unique sound and performance. However, fans are still more supportive of the band's early days in the 1980s, such as "DAWN PATROL", "MIDNIGHT MADNESS" and "7 WISHES". In this work "ROCK 'N' ROLL TONITE", you can enjoy the lively performance of the early NIGHT RANGER from both pro-shot live and video clips. The first part is a live video for TV broadcast in Hollywood, California in 1983. Since it appeared a few years ago, it has become a big topic among fans, so many people may already know the live performance itself. Although this work is based on analog video, the image quality is clearly master quality. The images, which are drawn with natural color and clear contours, will convince the viewer that "it is likely that no better material will come out" as long as it is the same kind of master! On a stage set up in a large venue (specially for TV?), the band explodes with their characteristic energetic performance. From "DAWN PATROL" to "Play Rough", "At Night She Sleeps" and "Eddie's Comin' Out Tonight", the selection of songs unique to the early days is very rare. "Sing Me Away", with its catchy melody and impressive twin guitar harmony, is the highlight of the set. The guitar solos of Jeff Watson and Brad Gills, who have different personalities, are not just solo parts, but are also a major highlight during the live performance. The US hit "Don't Tell Me You Love Me" is the grand finale. It is a 40-minute stage that condenses the charm of the band until the end. In the second half, video clips from the time of "MIDNIGHT MADNESS" and "7 WISHES" are also recorded for about 40 minutes. This is a direct digitalization from a valuable video master produced by a British record company for sales promotion (the video production company's data is included at the beginning and end of the song). In addition to the opening song "When You Close Your Eyes" from "MIDNIGHT MADNESS," the album includes the comfortable "(You Can Still) Rock In America" and the masterpiece "Sister Christian" that propelled the band to stardom, and the power ballad "Sentimental Street" from the following 1985 album "7 WISHES," which features the band's youthful appearance and excellent songs (and a video documentary from the promotional shoot for "7 WISHES" is also inserted, which is also a big highlight). At the end, the album also includes "Big Life" from the next album and "The Color Of Your Smile," which was also used in the soundtrack, to thoroughly satisfy fans. This album allows you to enjoy the pop melodies and powerful performances of early NIGHT RANGER in the highest quality image for 80 minutes. This superb release will serve as both an introduction to the band that captivated so many fans in the early '80s, and an addition to any enthusiast's collection!
