Nick Simper, the original bassist of the first Purple, who later formed Warhorse, performed a tribute live concert titled "DEEP PURPLE Mark 1 Songbook" in Vienna, Austria on March 14, 2009, and this is a complete recording from a high-quality audience master. First of all, Nick Simper has continued his activities steadily even after leaving Purple, and here is a live performance he performed as part of a project in which he joined up with NASTY HABITS, a cover band active mainly in Austria, including not only the main live performance but also rehearsals and sound checks, for a total of 1 hour and 46 minutes. The set is also centered around the numbers from the first period, and by the way, Purple's live performances when Nick Simper was a member could only be heard on the official "LIVE AT INGLEWOOD 1968", and even there, songs such as "The Painter", "Emmaretta", and "Why Didn't Rosemary" are played, which old fans should check out.
