NICK MASON'S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS is an early FLOYD reprint project that I'm reporting on every day. Introducing the latest and best live album. This week, the masterpiece "COPENHAGEN 2018: MULTICAM (Amity 476)" for everyone will be released at the same time, but this work will be open as usual (?). This is a live album that will accompany the tour with the best recordings. This work includes “September 16, 2018 Berlin Performance”. This is a superb audience recording representing the second half of the latest European continental edition. This will be the fifth tour from this fall tour, so let's first organize the collection within the schedule. ・September 2nd: Stockholm ・September 3rd: Copenhagen “COPENHAGEN 2018” ・September 4th: Rostock ・September 6th: Amsterdam “AMSTERDAM 2018” ・September 8th: Antwerp ・September 9th : Luxembourg・September 10th: Paris・September 11th: Düsseldorf “DUSSELDORF 2018”・September 13th: Hamburg “HAMBURG 2018”・September 15th: Stuttgart・September 16th: Berlin [This work ]・September 17th: Leipzig・September 19th: Vienna・September 20th: Milan・September 21st: Zurich・September 23rd-29th: UK (6 performances) This is the full-fledged performance that started in September A total of 21 performances on the tour. The Berlin performance of this work is the 11th concert. Currently, in addition to the UK, which is currently in progress, a compilation of the sound sources for the European continental edition, which has already been completed, is being carried out, and this work is one of the representative works of the second half. !” It is a superb recording that has become a hot topic. As a matter of fact, nowadays it is not uncommon to hear famous recordings that make you want to say “it’s like a soundboard,” but this work is at an abnormal level even by that standard. Rather, it's a surprising sound that makes you wonder, "What part of this isn't a soundboard?" There is no sense of distance at the core of the musical tone, and the shining edges are so sharp that it is hard to believe that they have passed through the air. The clear and transparent performance sounds are neatly separated, and the fantastical world unique to early FLOYD is depicted with a three-dimensional stereo effect. If you analyze and listen carefully, you will notice that there is no venue acoustics, but even that is vivid as if the band had created it with an effector. The soundboard for this project has not yet appeared, but even if it is discovered, it probably won't be as amazing as this...It's an unusual high quality close-up sound of such a dimension. The person who made such a sound a thing is a German master who is active mainly in Berlin. Their success has been especially remarkable since this year, and at our store, 21st Century RAINBOW's press titles "DEFINITIVE BERLIN 2018 (Black Box 027)" and Queen + Adam Ampert's "BERLIN 2018 (Uxbridge 854)" have been very popular. . This work is the latest work by such a German representative, but it is not the public sound source itself on the internet, but it is refined with original mastering. The original sound had a tremendously direct feel, but it was also a little too close to the midrange. In this work, we have adjusted that balance. Of course, we did not do anything to increase the sound pressure, but we achieved a crystal clear sound with a more relaxed treble and a delicate vibe in the deep bass. The world of early FLOYD depicted with such sounds is exquisite. The set and performance are very similar to the masterpieces so far, but it sounds completely different when drawn with this sound. Especially when the scales fall from the ears, it gives a three-dimensional effect. The sense of space is different because there is no sense of distance, but the close performance and sound effects approach with a vivid stereo effect, and fragments of various sounds surround your head. That's why the performance and consciousness are synchronized as if it were a sound board or IEMs... NICK MASON'S SAUCERFUL OF SECRETS, which has been reported on numerous superb recordings. Audience recordings are so widely divided in taste that it cannot be easily declared a ``pinnacle work''. However, I can definitely say that it is for those who give priority to being "close to the sound board". It is the highest peak live album that is so vivid and intimate, and if the recording artist had kept the origin a secret, there is no doubt that it would have been said, “Soundboard appears!” Live at Tempodrom, Berlin, Germany 16th September 2018 TRULY PERFECT/ULTIMATE SOUND Disc 1 (55:30) 1.
