In June 1976, after the Dolls split up, a high-quality stereo soundboard recording of a Cleveland performance was released! The original members of the New York Dolls were David Johansen and Sylvain Sylvain, and on June 7, 1976, a high-quality stereo soundboard recording of a live performance at the Agora Ballroom in Cleveland was released! Digitally transferred from the WMMS-FM broadcast master, the sound has a wide range and is recorded with impeccable clear sound quality. In addition, this sound source is also available on the Internet as a tape source that has been dubbed and deteriorated, but this work is recorded with a clear sound quality that sets it apart, and the pitch deviation caused by the master has been carefully corrected. In 1975, Jerry Nolan and Johnny Thunders left the band and the two formed the Heartbreakers, and Johansen and Sylvain put an end to their activities as the Dolls. The set list included only a few songs from the Dolls' heyday, and was centered on songs played on Johansen's and Sylvain's solo albums and with The Criminals later on, so the show had more of a rock and roll feel to it by Johansen and Sylvain than it did for The Dolls. However, the concert also featured rare covers, such as "Check Mr. Popeye" by New Orleans-born Eddie Bo, sung by Johansen and Sylvain on twin vocals, and "Flip Flop Fly," a single released by Big Joe Turner in 1955 that was also covered by The Blues Brothers.
