From the North American tour accompanying the release of "CLOSE ENOUGH FOR ROCK 'N' ROLL" in 1976, the Portland performance on September 29th was recorded in its entirety over the course of 1 hour and 26 minutes on a recently unearthed stereo soundboard recording. This is a master recording leaked by a related party, and it has been mixed and mastered to be almost the same as the official version. The live performance mainly features the two big hit albums "RAZAMANAZ" and "HAIR OF THE DOG", but also features only the opening song "Telegram" from the most recent "CLOSE ENOUGH FOR ROCK 'N' ROLL", and three songs from "PLAY 'N' THE GAME", which had not yet been released, making the set composition interesting. Although Nazareth has released several official live albums since the 1980s, there are none from their heyday in the mid-1970s, and full live performances like this one are rare in circulation, so this is a must-listen item for fans of the past.
