MR. BIG came to Japan in 2011, about a month after the Great East Japan Earthquake, when foreign tours to Japan were being canceled one after another. An original recording that allows you to experience the memorial scene will be released. What is infused into this work is the “April 22, 2011 Pacifico Yokohama” performance. This is a masterpiece audience recording that vacuum-packs the whole story. This year's Japan tour is also famous for being the 100th Japan performance, which is recorded in the official live album "RAW LIKE SUSHI 100: LIVE IN JAPAN 100TH ANNIVERSARY", but of course this work is a separate performance. In order to understand the relationship, let's first look back at the schedule at that time.・April 7th “RAW LIKE SUSHI 100 (Osaka Castle)” ・April 9th: Kanazawa Opera Theater ・April 11th: Fukuoka Civic Center ・April 12th: Hiroshima ALSOK Hall ・April 14th: Aichi Prefecture Art Theater ・April 15th: Morioka Civic Culture Hall ・April 17th: Sapporo Nitori Culture Hall ・April 19th: Akita Prefectural Civic Center × April 20th: ZEPP SENDAI (cancelled) ・April 22nd: Pacifico Yokohama ←★This work★ April 25th: Nippon Budokan April 26th: Tokyo Dome City Hall A total of 11 performances. Despite the confusion of the Sendai performance being canceled due to the Great East Japan Earthquake and other venue changes happening one after another, they were able to complete a large-scale tour across the archipelago. This work was the 9th performance that was nearing the end of such a tour. This work recorded at such a show is an original recording that will open your eyes to its clarity. It may sound (slightly) over-peaked at the beginning, but the clarity and balance of each instrument is superb. Moreover, as the show progresses, the sound gets better and better and becomes a super sound. What is depicted with such exquisite sound is a full show that is different from “RAW LIKE SUSHI 100”. Let's compare and organize them here. Lean Into It (6 songs) ・Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy/Green-Tinted Sixties Mind/Road To Ruin/Just Take My Heart/Voodoo Kiss/To Be With You What If... (8 songs) ・Undertow/American Beauty/I Won't Get In My Way/Stranger In My Life/Once Upon A Time/Still Ain't Enough For Me/Around The World/As Far As I Can See Others (10 songs)・MR. BIG: Merciless/Addicted To That Rush・Bump Ahead: Price You Gotta Pay (★)/Colorado Bulldog・Hey Man: Take Cover/Where Do I Fit In?・Others: The World Is On The Way/Carry On ( CSN&Y) / Brown Sugar (★: THE ROLLING STONES) / Shy Boy (★) *Note: Songs marked with "★" are songs that could not be heard on "RAW LIKE SUSHI 100". ...and it looks like this. It covers a wide range of famous songs, focusing on two albums, their major work ``LEAN INTO IT'' and the first album of the reunion, ``WHAT IF...''. As expected, two albums from the Richie Kotzen era have been omitted, but there is a balance of rare/standard items such as the new song "The World Is On The Way" dedicated to Japan suffering from the earthquake, daily covers, and the killer "Shy Boy". It's also a treasure trove of great songs. What is even more touching is the mood on set. After all, Japan at that time was at a time when the nuclear power plant accident was still in its infancy. Amidst the darkness of planned power outages, with the cancellations and postponements of Sotosare one after another, I'm sure many of you breathed a sigh of relief and thought, ``As expected, MR.BIG has been canceled as well...'' But they came. As foreigners disappear from the streets, how reliable their presence was. The rock music you hear in this album has such courage in its heart as it shouts, "Enjoy yourself tonight!" And the audience is also experiencing the joy with their whole bodies. This work is a live album that allows you to witness such scenes with clear sound. The memory of the earthquake is fading, and modern Japan is trying to recover from a new disaster: the new coronavirus pandemic. That's why ``Mr. BIG from that time'' sticks out. Unfortunately, live performances cannot be expected due to the difficult situation in which the performance in Japan itself is difficult, but that is why the ultra-realistic audience recording approaches the heart. Such a moving on-site experience. Live at Pacifico Yokohama, Yokohama, Japan 22nd April 2011 TRULY PERFECT SOUND(from Origial Masters) Disc 1 (59:37) 1. Come Fly With Me (Intro) 2. Undertow 3.
