The 2017 "DEFYING GRAVITY JAPAN TOUR" began in Sapporo on September 20th and ended in Hiroshima on October 5th, with a total of nine performances, all of which were a great success. This compilation is a chronological diary of the tour and live performances. The video is based mainly on the footage that was released on the web, and links to it with a selection of good footage from multiple audience sources. It is a documentary-like video that includes not only the stage footage, but also backstage footage and sound check footage. This tour has also evolved with each stage, and the set list is quite different from the first day in Sapporo to the last day in Hiroshima, and the number of songs has been gradually increasing. Furthermore, Pat Torpey, who reassured fans with his lively appearance in various places, left the stage for a few songs, but participated in most of the songs from the middle to the encore, performing chorus, percussion, and even drumming on "Just Take My Heart." In "We're An American Band," the members switched parts (Billy and Matt on guitar, Eric on bass, Paul on drums), and Pat took the lead vocals. These fun scenes are a must-see.
