MR. BIG returns to Japan to put a finale on his career. As if to celebrate, a newly excavated original recording that lets you fully experience the peak of his popularity in 1994 is here! This work is recorded on "October 19, 1994: Hiroshima Sun Plaza Performance". This is a superb audience recording that captures the whole story. MR. BIG has always been very popular in Japan, but the peak of his popularity was when he was in the "BUMP AHEAD" era. In 1993 after the release of the album, he went on his second national tour of his career, but a year later he returned to Japan with "JAPANDEMONIUM: RAW LIKE SUSHI III", which contains the footage of that tour. He once again went on a big tour across the archipelago. First, let's look back on his schedule in Japan and explore the position of this work.・October 9: Tokyo Bay NK Hall・October 11: Tsukisamu Green Dome・October 13: Sendai Sun Plaza・October 14: Koriyama Civic Cultural Center・October 15: Yokohama Cultural Gymnasium・October 17: Nagoya Century Hall・October 18: Osaka Castle Hall *October 19: Hiroshima Sun Plaza ←★This work★・October 21: Kagoshima Civic Cultural Hall・October 22: Kyushu Welfare Pension Hall・October 24: Nippon Budo・October 25: Nippon Budokan・October 26: Nippon Budokan and above for a total of 13 performances. The most in his career is the 18 performances of the “HEY MAN Tour”, but in 1994 he returned to Japan after a national tour of 16 performances a year earlier. Considering the situation where there are no new studio works, this is more astonishing. In the midst of all of this, the Hiroshima performance of this work is the 8th performance, which is past the halfway point. It was also their first live performance in Hiroshima (by the way, the venue with the most live performances in the history of MR. BIG is Nippon Budokan, but the only time they performed three days in one tour was in 1994). This work, which vacuum-packed the first Hiroshima scene, is a great recording that combines clarity and dynamism. It is an original DAT master unearthed by our own route, but it is hard to believe that it has never been released before. While it is not the type that can be mistaken for a sound board, the crystal clear and transparent air is wonderful, and the crisp performance sound and vocals reach straight. The vividness is clear even to the fine details, and it is as sharp and beautiful as a laser beam. Moreover, the slight hall sound gives Eric Martin's singing voice a sense of freedom, and Billy Sheehan's bass has thickness and dynamism. What's even more wonderful is the joy of the vast audience. While there is no voice close to the venue, it also absorbs the carpet-like enthusiasm that spreads to the ends of the venue. This spaciousness is wonderful, and as soon as the song ends, joy spreads like a rippling carpet, and the venue shakes with a roar when the audience realizes what song the next intro is. The fierce clarity makes the voices of each audience member feel detailed, and the thickness of the countless voices gathered together creates an indescribable spectacle. The wonderfulness of the chorus captured with such detail and spaciousness...it makes you feel like you're getting all shivers. This deeply moving sound depicts a full show that features "BUMP AHEAD" but is a little different from "JAPANDEMONIUM". Here, let's organize the contents of the set. Bump Ahead (9 songs) - Price You Gotta Pay / Temperamental / Promise Her The Moon / The Whole World's Gonna Know (★) / Mr. Gone (★) / What's It Gonna Be (★★) / Wild World / Colorado Bulldog / Mr. Big Others (15 songs) - MR. BIG: Addicted To That Rush / How Can You Do What You Do / Merciless / Blame It On My Youth / Rock & Roll Over / Take A Walk - Lean Into It: Green-Tinted Sixties Mind / Just Take My Heart (★) / Road To Ruin / Alive And Kickin' (★) / Never Say Never (★) / To Be With You / Daddy, Brother, Lover, Little Boy - Others: Seven Impossible Days (★) / Baba O'Riley *Note: Songs marked with "★" are songs that could not be heard on "RAW LIKE SUSHI I, II, III". In particular, the "★★" mark is a limited edition song only available during the "BUMP AHEAD" era. ... and so on. In a word, it feels like "a culmination of the RAW LIKE SUSHI series + α". The RAW LIKE SUSHI series was selected so that each song would not overlap, but this work condenses that element into one show. On top of that, rare songs from each album such as "How Can You Do What You Do", "Mr. Gone", and "What's It Gonna Be" as well as the new song "Seven Impossible Days" are scattered throughout. Although they were at the height of their popularity, the 1994 "JAPANDEMONIUM Tour" was not blessed with a good record due to the continuous release of official live albums. This is a newly excavated live album that allows you to fully experience the glorious scene with the highest quality sound. A new masterpiece that will leave you moved by the mature ensemble and the vast chorus. A superb audience recording of the "October 19, 1994: Hiroshima Sun Plaza Performance". This is an original DAT master unearthed through our own unique route, and is a famous recording that combines clarity and dynamism. The crystal clear and transparent airiness is wonderful, the clear performance sound and vocals reach straight, and the detailed chorus is also impressive.
