Three years have passed since the farewell tour for MOTLEY CRUE. Although the production of the biographical film "THE DIRT", which follows "THE END", is progressing, the band itself has not been active at all. Was that announcement of the end true? ... A superb video that will blow away such thoughts has been decided to be released. Such a work is included in "June 18, 2012 Paris performance". That superb audience shot ... is it? Sorry for the sudden apology. In fact, the quality of this work is so wonderful that such a "?" floats. In fact, it is a multi-camera video produced by an overseas enthusiast, and it must be the audience. However, the feel and finish are strangely professional ... or rather, it is like a movie. Because it is edited with multiple cameras, it cannot be said in general that "the angle is ○ ×" and "the position is ▲% &", but the quality is intense. The first thing that surprises you is the vividness of the screen. The colors are very vivid, and it really looks like a professional shot. I think the highlights are probably raised to give a sense of unity to the images with different image quality, but it works beautifully and there is no audience-like feeling. Moreover, the matching even exudes elegance. The angles change one after another, and each one is stable and has a sense of scale. The angle selection is exquisite, and there are almost no scenes that are disturbed by the shadows of the front row. The wide distant view, the close-up of the members, and the screen image that looks like a professional shot... And the sound is also great. This is also a combination of multiple recordings, but all of them are clear and you can enjoy the performance / singing clearly. In fact, there were not enough materials, so there were still images between some songs, and the beginning of the guitar solo from "Same Ol' Situation (S.O.S.)" was not recorded. Although not everything was perfect, the finished product is a video work full of taste. The show drawn with such quality is also wonderful. In 2012, the joint tour with KISS, "THE TOUR", became a hot topic, but this work is a little different. Here is a look back at the activities at that time. ・February 3rd-19th: Las Vegas (12 performances) ・June 5th-23rd: Europe (11 performances) ←★Here★ ・July 13th: USA FESTIVAL appearance 《July 17th: Single "Sex" released》 "THE TOUR (with KISS)" ・July 20th-October 1st: North America (44 performances) This is the schedule for 2012. The Paris performance of this work was part of the European festival tour prior to "THE TOUR", and was the 8th concert. The contents are greatest hits reminiscent of that farewell tour. Although "Saints Of Los Angeles" from the final work is also played, all the other songs are golden age numbers from "TOO FAST FOR LOVE" to "DECADE OF DECADENCE". It's as luxurious as an audience version of "THE END: LIVE IN LOS ANGELES", but the song that catches your eye is "Piece Of Your Action". This is a song that was revived for the first time in 12 years on this tour, and was sealed the following year in 2013, and it's a delicious song that wasn't even seen in "THE END: LIVE IN LOS ANGELES". And the drum solo is a must-see. Unlike the farewell tour, where they cross the venue, they are grabbed by the hand projected on a giant circular screen, and spin around and around, making a spectacular performance. Then, they spin again with selected audience members on board. You can witness the big drum show that was a hot topic at the time in a spectacular movie-like video. It was in 2013 that they started hinting at their disbandment. Just before that, MOTLEY CRUE was exciting the world with the same momentum as in their heyday. This is a video work that depicts their gorgeous show with multiple cameras. A masterpiece that overflows with the passion and sense of the maniacs.
