This high-quality stereo soundboard recording of a live performance by Jonathan Richman and his band Modern Lovers, held in Berkeley, California in 1972, in their early days, has been remixed using the latest AI technology! Formed in 1970 by Jonathan Richman and future Talking Heads member Jerry Harrison, the Modern Lovers held an early live performance at the Long Branch Saloon in Berkeley, California on April 21, 1972, using the latest AI technology. This recording was released in 1992 on the French CD "Live At Longbranch Saloon," and also on the same label's previously released "I CAN TAKE A VACANT STARE," with only two tracks remaining unremixed. This release includes all 10 tracks. The original master had a mono sound image with little separation, but by using the latest AI to separate and balance each part, and then remixing, each part has been recorded with a clearer, more expansive sound quality. The set list for this performance included The Modern Lovers, who appeared as the opening act for the New York Dolls, and a cover of The Velvet Underground's "Foggy Notion," and the audience's cheers were both realistic and powerful, making for a superb live performance! This recording also features a live performance at the Mercer Arts Center in New York on December 31st of the same year. This recording is also from the same label's previously released "Radcliffe College 72" This album includes the tracklist from the album "Berkeley Plus (TOTH2345)," but this one features an AI remix. Because it was recorded with an audience, there aren't any dramatic changes like in the Berkeley performance, but it's recorded with clearer sound quality. 01. Someone I Care About 02.
