20 years ago, ``Rubber Band'', a recording of the 1985 live performance that shocked Miles maniacs when it was suddenly released, has been hailed as a masterpiece despite being a monaural recording. However, for the first time, a title has been released that records the live sound source broadcast on Denmark's national broadcaster "Danish Radio" in master-level quality of a noise-free stereo sound source (!) that does not feel deterioration over time. The 1985 world tour started at the Queen Mary Jazz Festival held in Long Beach on April 20th, and the long-awaited performance in Japan was realized in July. The live performance at the Falconer Theater in Copenhagen, where this new sound source appeared, also included a cover version of Chaka Khan's hit song "Stronger Than Before," making it a sound source that was valued by Miles mania. They also performed the song "Rubber Band", which was unreleased at the time. By the way, referring to the data of overseas enthusiasts, "Rubber Band" played in this Copenhagen is the third live version. Now, when we turn our attention to the sound source released this time, what attracts attention is that a full-spec stereo sound source is used as the master. Robert Irving and Adam Holtzman's synths are divided into left and right, and Miles' trumpet tone can be heard from the center. The hiss noise that was noticeable in the old title "Rubber Band" has been reduced as much as possible in this version, and the pitch etc. have also been corrected, so you can listen to it with confidence. Also, on the 1985 tour, John Scofield was replaced by Mike Stern from August. Going off topic, John Scofield's final performance on the 1985 tour was the Nagoya performance on July 29th, which was released. You cannot miss listening to the best live performance with the highest quality sound that can be heard on this Definitive edition.
