This definitive recording, a must-have for Miles Davis enthusiasts, features the longest recording ever, newly unearthed by an overseas enthusiast. The 1981 comeback tour began with a four-day performance at Kicks Club on June 26th, followed by a performance at Avery Fisher Hall in New York on July 5th, and a series of performances at the Savoy Club in New York on July 18th and 19th. The Warner Theater performance marked the beginning of the tour, and marked the beginning of a larger hall. Released more than 20 years ago, this recording has been widely copied. This newly unearthed recording, the longest ever, has been remastered by master remasterer "Plaz" to maximize dynamic range by optimizing phase rotation, adjusting azimuth, restoring low-latency clicks, and removing reverb.
