This is a must-have collection that combines three of Miles Davis' precious important live performances from 1972. There were many live performances in 1971 and 1973, but in 1972 there were only a few performances. So what was Miles doing? He was busy recording in the studio. He recorded the street funk album "On the Corner," which is the second controversial work following "Bitches Brew" and is now considered a masterpiece. And this is the live performance that took place after the recording. To leave an influence of the "On the Corner" session, the band even had an electric sitar and a tabla player. You can enjoy the exotic sound that was only available at this time. The set list is also unique, with "Black Satin" from "On the Corner" and "Lights Off" from "Jack Johnson," which are songs that fans will drool over only during this period. However, as mentioned above, there were only a few performances, only a few from late September to early October. Among them, the ones with the best sound quality were recorded here. All of them use FM broadcast masters and are at a level of 70 to 80 points (out of 100). Incidentally, there are also sound sources that are not included here, but they are not at a level that can be listened to very well. In other words, this item contains all the decent live sound sources from 1972. All of them have been remastered and edited to the latest version. In addition, the sound source at Stanford University recorded on Disc 3 is also sold as a complete set, but this is because the missing parts were supplemented from the Ann Arbor performance on Disc 1, so this is recorded purely from the sound source at Stanford. The first press version comes with a limited bonus DVDR containing live footage from the following year at Village East. This was broadcast on television as "PRINCE OF DARKNESS", but the image quality is poor and it has psychedelic visual effects, so it cannot be commercialized as a single item. Therefore, it is difficult to obtain and the members are almost the same as the main story (the saxophone player is different), so it is a welcome bonus for collections.
