This high-quality soundboard recording of Miles Davis' performance on November 7th in Hamburg, Germany with Lester Young, Bud Powell and the Rene Urtreger Trio from his first European tour in 1956 is the first to be released. Backed by the Rene Urtreger Trio, familiar from the soundtrack of the 1957 release "Elevator to the Gallows," Miles performs four songs, "Turn Up," "Four," "Yesterdays," and "Walkin'," as well as his historic collaboration with Lester Young, "Oh! Lady Be Good." Following Bud Powell's piano solos, "Autumn in New York" and "I Want to Be Happy," the last three songs are performed by Lester Young.
