Both the first and second sets of the live performance at Massey Hall in Canada on January 27th, the second day of the 1974 tour that produced the famous "Dark Magus" album, which has a mysterious and evil aura. This is a long-awaited title for fans, as it has been significantly upgraded with the latest remastering, and is a sound source that has disappeared from the market for a long time. It is about half a year after the enthusiastic performance in Japan, but the morbid heat has increased even more, and the incredible performance that predicts the coming supernova explosion in 1975 is a must-listen. Although it does not have the resolution of a sound board, the overwhelming pressure is enough to convey the destructive power of the band. In addition, when it comes to this venue, Massey Hall, it is "Jazz at Massey Hall" that all jazz fans first think of. Going back about 20 years, in 1953, Bird, aka Charlie Parker, Dizzy Gillespie, Charles Mingus, Bud Powell, and Max Roach were some of the most dazzling and faint-inducing figures to ever grace the stage. Miles, aka David, takes on the electrified Goliath of jazz history, Jazz at Massey Hall, in this new Samuel book, titled Electrified Miles at Massey Hall. The same label has also released "The Origin of the Dark Magus," which contains the recordings from the first day of the tour, and this is also recommended.
