Miles, who has released a series of high-quality titles that overturn common sense, has revived the live sound source from the Definitive Series from his 1983 performance in Japan to the May 20th live performance at the Miyagi Prefectural Hall in Sendai in a clear sound source that will give you goosebumps. A super title has appeared. To briefly review the flow of the previously released records, it was first released under the title "Ballad of Forest" about 20 years ago at Miyagi and Sendai performances in 1983. At the time, I was using a soundboard sound source obtained from a related party, but the cassette tape had deteriorated severely and there was a large hissing noise throughout the entire recording. Especially in "Star People", the noise was louder than Miles's trumpet, and there was a tendency for it to be aimed at enthusiasts. In the Definitive version released this time, the noise problem that was a problem with the remastering by the overseas remaster craftsman (code name: Plaz) who provided the sound source to our store has been successfully resolved. In addition, the pitch (tape speed), which was inconsistent for each song in the previous title, has been corrected and balance correction has been made to achieve the highest sound quality ever. Let's take a look at some of the remasters. - Minimizes hiss noise across the entire sound source. - Minimizes sound distortion across the entire sound source.・The balance of the left channel has been lowered by 1,50dB.・The speed of the first song (Come Get It) was reduced by 80cts to normal. ・The speed of the second and third songs was reduced to normal by 82cts. The speed of songs 4 to 8 was reduced by 92cts to normal. In this way, only the sound pressure is abnormal. To put it bluntly, it is different from a simple remaster in which the details have been destroyed. As the sound quality became clearer, the details were preserved beautifully, making it possible for the first time to clearly distinguish the sounds of John Scofield, Mike Stern, and the two guitarists. The live performance in Sendai was said to be good but the sound was bad, but it has been revived with the highest quality.
