If you're a fan of Midnight Star's heyday, and of course the release of O Parking On The Dance Floor in 1983, you'll probably agree. It is a title that contains almost all of the songs on the album in live versions, and can be enjoyed on both the professional shot video DVD and the sound board sound source CD. Prince's futuristic staging seems to be far ahead of other Solar label artists, while the flashy costumes that are typical of vocal and instrumental groups were avant-garde in a sense. The appearance of the members in coverall tank tops that look as if they are going to turn pale is refreshing. On the other hand, Belinda Lipscomb, the lone winner, competed more with her beautiful voice than with her costume. In Babyface's Slow Jam, you can see that Hamori is actually good at it. The Callaway brothers are also responsible for the sound. The electro-funk jam that united the audience at the end was unique, and it could be said to be the pinnacle of Midnight Star, or rather the Solar label group's live performance.
