This complete recording captures Taylor's performance at the East West Festival in Germany on April 28, 1990, captured on stereo soundboard from the FM on-air master. The band lineup, featuring Max Middleton and Wilbur Bascomb, is the same as on the live album "Stranger in This Town," released at the time. The set is dominated by lengthy blues numbers, including a rare "Laundromat Blues" from this period, a full-throttle rendition of Jimi Hendrix's "Red House," and a slide-heavy "You Gotta Move." However, like the live album, Taylor's technical playing, while still based on blues, occasionally leans toward fusion. This was during the peak of Taylor's solo career, and this disc offers a truly enjoyable experience, featuring a robust rhythm section and a full-bodied performance.
