This is a superb stereo soundboard recording of a live performance by Michel Petrucciani, one of France's greatest jazz pianists, held on September 11, 1985 at the Vienna University of Technology in Austria, from an official unreleased live performance. As with his '84 album "Live at the Village Vanguard" and his '86 album "pianism" released by Blue Note, this is a live performance by a trio with Palle Danielsson on bass and Elliot Sigmund on drums, and features six songs, including "Nardis" by Miles Davis, which was also a favorite of Bill Evans, "Oleo" by Sonny Rollins, and his own composition "Our Tune." You can enjoy Michel Petrucciani's superb technique, driving feeling, and powerful, clear tone of the piano, all of which can only be achieved by a tense live performance. 1. Nardis (10:52) 2. Someday My Prince Will Come (08:32) 3. Our Tune (08:05) 4. Turnaround (07:51) 5. All The Things You Are (11:24) 6. Oleo (07:20) Live at Audimax Technische Universität, Vienna, Austria, September 11th 1985 Michel Petrucciani - piano Palle Danielsson - bass Eliot Zigmund – drums Stereo Soundboard Recording
