The second show of the Tokyo Budokan performance on August 12, 1981 and the second show of the Osaka Festival Hall performance on the 19th of the following day are both almost completely recorded as high-quality audience recordings from the original master cassette. The first Budokan performance is familiar as the official live version "One Night At Budokan", but this version uses unreleased audience sources. The neatly organized sound is a great listen, and both Michael's guitar solo and Cozy's drums are reproduced with clear sound. In particular, songs such as But I Want More have great quality, and you can enjoy moving performances, and Michael and Cozy's play, which can be heard with a natural and raw texture that is completely different from the official version, is exquisite. Also, the guitar solos in each song are completely different from those on the official live version, such as those recorded on the second album, so be sure to check that out as well. In the middle of Never Trust A Strange, there is a tape change cut, and there are places where Michael misses the scale in the intro of Let Sleeping Dogs Lie. What's amazing is Cozy's drum solo in the second half, which is recorded with a wonderful sound that is different from the already released audience version, and is a must-listen for fans. Also, the Courvoisier Concert, which was recorded with direct sound, has a different texture from the official one. And the encore Are You Ready To Rock is also recorded with good sound, but the tape ran out at 4 minutes 43 seconds and the last part was not recorded. And the second show of the second half of the Osaka performance is also recorded with a wonderful sound full of direct feeling. Although it has a slightly noisy texture, the sound itself is very clear and direct, allowing you to enjoy the entire live performance. Not only the guitar, but also the vocals and drums are recorded in a well-balanced manner, the performance is even better than the Tokyo performance, Gary's vocals are also wonderful, and you can enjoy the best live performance. In particular, on On And On, which was recorded with an excellent sense of separation, you can clearly hear Cozy's every minute stroke, and that exquisite groove with a realistic sound. For both performances, the legendary 1981 performance in Japan, which can be said to be the best sound at present as an audience recording, is reproduced here!
