Michael Schenker has become a hot topic after announcing his reunion performance "MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST" with Gary Burden, Graham Bonnet, Robin McCauley and others. The latest live album is perfect for those who can't wait for the groundbreaking concert that will be held this June! This work was recorded at “February 6, 2016 Drammen Performance (Norway)”. MICHAEL SCHENKER'S TEMPLE OF ROCK has been active for the first time in a while in recent years, and today is the last day of their "SPIRIT ON A MISSION TOUR." Even before "Natural Thing", Dougie White says, "This is the very last concert." There are about 4 months left until June's "MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST", but there are no live shows scheduled during that time. In other words, it is an audience album that will continue to convey 100% of the true nature of “The Newest Schenker” until June. The realistic sound of this work is wonderful. “SPIRIT ON A MISSION TOUR” has many small club-sized venues, and even if it is an audience recording, the sounds are very close. This work is also detailed, clear, and direct like a sound board. Of course, there is plenty of real live commentary with such a roaring musical sound. It's not a spectacle of loud cheers due to the size of the club, nor is it a storm of chorus, but the musical sounds are compressed inside a closed room, and the heat is suffocating. What unfolds behind closed doors is a show that can truly be called "the latest form of TEMPLE OF ROCK." The style of playing hit songs by UFO and SCORPIONS on a large scale and interweaving TEMPLE OF ROCK is the same as the Japanese performance, but there are also songs that were not performed in Japan such as "Too Hot To Handle" and MSG's "Attack Of The Mad Ax Man". ' is being shown. TEMPLE OF ROCK tends to have thin MSG, so I'm especially happy with "Attack Of The Mad Ax Man." Doogie sings in a fake way, probably because he's tired from the tour or not feeling well (not just on this song, but you won't hear his singing voice anywhere else on this day), but you can hear plenty of that tearful guitar solo in a close-up sound. The change is coming. Also, the TEMPLE OF ROCK number that is played between the classics cannot be underestimated. In particular, there are 5 songs from the latest work "SPIRIT ON A MISSION". They also play ``Good Times'' and ``Communion,'' which were not performed in Japan. Although it may not get as much attention as his classics, Schenker's sense of fulfillment emerges because he puts so much effort into new songs. The reason why TEMPLE OF ROCK's live performance sounds good for the first time in a while is probably because Schenker is enjoying the new songs. Michael Schenker took his last day off. With all eyes on his next move, he chose to co-star with Baden, Graham, and McCauley again. Furthermore, Chris Glenn, Ted McKenna are in the rhythm section, and Steve Mann is on the side guitar, so a truly “Schenker Festival” awaits. As of now, there are only two performances scheduled for "MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST" (Graham and McCauley will not be participating in one of them). I used to say, ``The next work will be TEMPLE OF ROCK,'' but that future has become uncertain. However, there is no doubt that this work is "Schenker's cutting edge" at this point. I wrote earlier that it is the "latest form of TEMPLE OF ROCK", but it may become the "final form". This is a famous recording that conveys the hard rock paradise created by a rare genius guitarist in 100% high quality. This is a masterpiece that I would like you to listen to if you are living in real time with Schenker. Union Scene, Drammen, Norway 6th February 2016 PERFECT SOUND Disc 1(46:47) 1. Intro 2.
