Restart MSG, the phantom official video is now available. This work includes “May 1999 Las Vegas Performance”. This is a reprint DVD of the official video "LIVE IN LAS VEGAS" which recorded one act of "THE UNFORGIVEN WORLD TOUR". This work is truly a fantasy. Michael Schenker, who revived MSG's gold signboard in 1996, was active in various lineups and was also repeating trial and error on the business side. One of them is running an independent production label. Along with the acoustic ``THANK YOU'' series and instrumental albums ``MS 2000: DREAMS AND EXPRESSIONS‎'' and ``THE ODD TRIO,'' they have also released several live works. This work is one of them. However, since it was an independent production, the release scale was small, and it went out of print quickly. No one other than the enthusiasts who had been following it since then were aware of its release, and of course it was never made into an official DVD. By the time I found out about it, I couldn't get it anymore...that situation continued. This work is a DVD version of such phantom footage from the VHS that was released at the time. The masters, which were treasured by core collectors in Japan, were mint quality and had hardly been played, and were entrusted to a specialist overseas to digitize them. Our laser disc reprint series has been popular, and with our know-how we are able to reprint it at the highest quality. Although the master freshness and digitization process were extremely precise, the essential quality was a little lacking. The self-produced series is a genuine official series supervised by Michael himself, but Michael was the type who didn't care about quality. For this reason, although it is a multi-camera system, the number of angles is small, and the switching and image processing are old-fashioned and amateurish. Although it doesn't have the feel of an official video, on the other hand, if you consider it a "shot of people involved", it's super awesome. After all, he himself authorized the shooting. The highlights are covered close-up without any hesitation, and the audio is also closely connected to the soundboard. It is a live video that is amazingly raw because it was not polished well, and can be synchronized with MSG beautifully. The show depicted with its visual beauty is exactly the video version of the live album “THE UNFORGIVEN WORLD TOUR”. The CD version is performed in Palo Alto, so the performance is different, but the set is the same since May 1999, which is the same time. You can enjoy that live album with “the scene on the other side”. Moreover, this is truly wonderful. Former Yngwie Band members Barry Sparks and Shane Gallas make you listen to their iron-clad rhythm work, and the two singers who sing the set separately: Keith Slack and Kelly Keeling are also very skillful. Kelly is especially must-see. Like the live album, there are only seven songs in the middle, but the singing voices requested by great heroes such as John Sykes, John Norum, Carmine Appice, George Lynch, etc. are exquisite. I thought his voice was husky and bitter, but when he sings with all his heart, his voice is as soulful as Glenn Hughes. Kelly mainly sings the “THE UNFORGIVEN” number, but the must-listen songs are the classics “On And On”, “Attack Of The Mad Axeman”, “Assault Attack” and “Another Piece Of Meat”. “On And On” and “Attack Of The Mad Axeman” are good, but the must-see is “Assault Attack”! Although his voice quality is similar to Gary Burden, he is able to sing this difficult song by making full use of various vocalizations. The heat and Chinese sexiness are close to those of the original Graham, and it's as if a very skilled Burden is singing. While witnessing Kelly's moving appearance, you can enjoy plenty of singing voices that are far more vivid than the live album. Currently, Michael is enjoying his golden years at MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST. On the other hand, 1999, when this work was recorded, may have been a dark age. The singers also kept changing, their image was unstable, and they stuck to independent productions, failing to create new topics. However, if you look at the scene, there was a god who had an expert rhythm section and singers and made the Gibson Flying V cry, not Dean. A piece depicting the entire story in a rough and vivid multi-camera professional shot. God was God even when he was overlooked. The video evidence.
