As with "Thriller," due to the limited recording time on the LP, edits were made to the tracks on the "Bad" album. The tempos of five tracks—"Bad," "The Way You Make Me Feel," "Speed Demon," "Just Good Friend," and "Smooth Criminal"—were sped up (though the pitch remains the same). Based on the information from the early special edition of "Bad" released on September 9, 1999, we've compiled a "Bad Special Edition Early Configuration" featuring original speed versions of "Bad." The edited sections are marked in parentheses in the setlist below. Please refer to the accompanying text. Additionally, a beautiful piano-accompanied version of "Scared of the Moon," re-recorded during the Bad era, and the original instrumental version of "Scared of the Moon" are included. These tracks are not included on the "Bad Special Edition," but they're bonus tracks that would have been nice to have.
