In a 2001 interview with Quincy Jones, he said that Michael wanted "Streetwalker" on the Bad album instead of "Another Part of Me." "Michael loved 'Streetwalker,' and I wanted 'Another Part of Me.' Michael wrote them both, so it made no difference. We'd listen to them together and decide which one to choose. DiLeo was sitting when 'Streetwalker' was playing, and as soon as 'Another Part of Me' came on, he stood up with his big ass and started dancing. I was like, 'That's not Michael's side at all.' It was so funny. [...] Michael called DiLeo funny names. He'd say, 'Rubber... yeah, I lost.' DiLeo's ass saved me." - Quincy Jones, from Bad Special Edition. However, an early DAT copy dated August 12, 1987, showed both songs to be on the album. Recently, a version of "Streetwalker" featuring a Western-style intro was unearthed, and this time it has been edited and placed at the beginning (the version included in the Special Edition is from 1988). The other "Bad" versions are the original LP and CD versions from 1987. In addition to the differences in sound quality, there are other differences: "Bad" is a soulful version with horns; "The Way You Make Me Feel" is a version that's just under two seconds longer; "I Just Can't Stop Loving You" is a longer version with Michael's spoken word at the beginning; "Dirty Diana" is a longer version that's about 10 seconds longer, but the performance itself remains the same, arranged to sound more live-like, with the cheers continuing for a long time before fading out and concluding; "Smooth Criminal" is a version in which Michael's icy, trembling breathing can be heard in the intro; and finally, there's the full-length version of "Streetwalker" with its Western-style intro, as well as the poorly sounding audience recording originally performed at the seminar. This album includes a fan-made early demo-style version of "The Way You Make Me Feel" featuring heartwarming backing vocals and different vocal timings, a demo-quality remastered demo, and a longer version from the Full 1987 Sessions. "The Way You Make Me Feel" was co-produced with Quincy Jones and originally titled "Hot Fever" when production began at Havenhurst on October 2, 1985. The album version was recorded between August 1986 and July 6, 1987, but the title was changed to "The Way You Make Me Feel" during the sessions. "You give me this indescribable feeling, I'm so addicted to it, I'm captivated, you know, goodbye to lonely days." This is one of Michael's top three uplifting songs.
