This recording, taken from the stereo soundboard of a local radio broadcast, features Brecker's performance at the legendary Warsaw Jazz Jamboree Festival in Poland, part of a world tour following the release of his 1998 album "Don't Try This at Home," which reached No. 2 on the Billboard Contemporary Jazz Albums chart. While the master recording is old, the tapes are in excellent condition, making this the first CD release of its kind. While guitarist Mike Stern joined Brecker on this tour, he wasn't yet a part of this performance, making this a rare early recording of the quartet. This performance also marks the debut of bassist Jay Anderson, making this a truly valuable recording.
