From the 1988 "...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" tour, when METALLICA overcame the tragedy of Cliff Burton and began to climb the stairs to become a monster band in name and reality, the two major audiences of the British tour recorded by famous taper Crazy S.・The source is revived here with the long-awaited 4-CD set of fans! You can enjoy the live performances from the era when METALLICA was rising from a mania "cult band" to the top of the world, all with soundboard-level ultra-high quality sound! With 1986's "MASTER OF PUPPETS" reaching 29th place on Billboard, METALLICA began a meteoric rise that even those involved had never expected. By turning the L.A. metal that was the mainstream at the time on its head, their radical and wild metal original charm gained the support of many young people. The support and momentum of their fans helped them overcome even the band's biggest crisis, the tragedy of Cliff Burton, and together with the newly added Jason Newstead, METALLICA evolved even further. At the same time as their sound became more radical, their musicality also deepened, and their live performances featured DIO, BON JOVI, and DEEP PURPLE, who were the leading performers at "Monsters of Rock" (both UK and Germany) in 1987. It wielded a ferocity that surpassed even that of Japan. From this point on, the band finally began to climb the ladder as a "monster band." From January to May 1988, they produced their first Frerance album after joining Jason, ``...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL'', and began touring without waiting for the album's release. After completing a two-month tour in the United States from the Los Angeles show on May 23rd to the Denver, Colorado show on July 30th, we will be touring Europe from September to October to support the new work released in August. and circuits around the UK. At both of these venues, they left a strong impression both musically and visually (such as the collapsing stone statue on the album jacket). On that UK tour, the famous taper Crazy S. cut out this historic tour with an unprecedented audience sound! "TRIAL BY FIRE" and "DEATH OF MOTHER EARTH" have been supported by fans as definitive items of METALLICA live during this period. This time, we have regenerated the sound from these classic original cassette masters and have made a complete remaster that takes full advantage of 120% of the best recordings, realizing the fans' long-awaited CD! We have completed this as an exceptional 4-disc set! Discs 1 and 2 include the Bradford performance on September 30th, the third performance of the UK tour. This show had items that didn't sound good (and were recorded in fragments) from the analog era, but "TRIAL BY FIRE" wiped out these previous episodes. However, the day came when this work replaced “TRIAL BY FIRE”. From the opening song, "The Ecstasy Of Gold," the lively, realistic sound that enveloped the growing excitement of the venue with a wide atmosphere and clear outlook is a masterpiece. The pyro explosion at the beginning of “Blackened” will surprise the listener. Furthermore, the live performance was spectacular from the beginning, with a medley of “For Whom The Bell Tolls” and “Welcome Home (Sanitarium)” which overwhelmed the listener with its delicate intro and heavy development from the middle onwards! METALLICA's style of aggressive music that stimulates the listener's instincts and intelligent lyrics that deeply explore modern society is at its true potential with "Harvester Of Sorrow" and "Eye Of The Beholder" from their new album. The live performance unique to “...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL” is a great listening experience. James and Kirk's heavy, sharp guitars, and Lars' powerful drums are unparalleled. From the beautiful “To Live Is To Die” to “Master Of Puppets” without any questions and answers, many people will think of the official video in Seattle in 1989. The band's first video clip was shocking, ``One,'' and the second half of the live show was a dramatic performance of ``...And Justice For All,'' which captured the falling stone statue on the album jacket with realistic sound. is! Disc 2 is actually an encore side that lasts over 40 minutes. “Creeping Death”, “Fade To Black”, and “Battery” burst from the band’s hot jam session, and the ferocity is beyond words! In addition, cover songs such as "Prowler" and "Run To The Hills" from the IRON MAIDEN medley, and "Helpless" and "Last Caress" from E.P., which was the first studio take after Jason joined, are also wonderful. Just like the Bradford audience, the listeners will be overwhelmed by the awesomeness of METALLICA live! On discs 3 and 4, you can enjoy the Sheffield performance, which took place on September 30th, four days after the Bradford performance, with a wonderful sound that even exceeds the masterpiece “DEATH OF MOTHER EARTH”. There are parts that exceed Discs 1 and 2 in terms of recording stability and ease of listening, and everyone can enjoy the energetic live performance. The band's heartfelt performance and the excitement of the venue were on par with the Bradford performance, and the positive mood with a good sense of tension between the stage and the audience was wonderful. New songs such as "Blackened", "Harvester Of Sorrow" and "Eye Of The Beholder", as well as "Four Horsemen" and "Master Of Puppets" are a series of great performances, but on this day, the PA was turned off at the ending of "One". An accident occurred that caused it to fly away. The band performance becomes only live sound. The commotion inside the venue, which lasted about 6 minutes until recovery from this state, was realistically captured, and it can be said that this is a vivid scene even as a document. Although "Seek And Destroy" was played after recovery, it seems that "...And Justice For All" was also having trouble, and it is also recorded that it was not possible to start playing immediately even after the title call. However, from disc 4 onwards, the usual METALLICA live appearance has been completely restored, and the 40-minute encore from the jam part to "Creeping Death" and "Fade To Black", and from "Battery" to "Whiplash" is also recorded in the highest quality. It has been done! Each performance lasts approximately 2 hours, totaling nearly 240 minutes, and both performances are of completely exceptional quality that will overwhelm the listener. This is an amazing live documentary that will make even the soundboard run away! The shocking live performance will leave fans stunned, and the simmering energy will bubble up like magma and swallow everything! Please enjoy the band's famous performance, which foretells that they will conquer the United States with that "BLACK ALBUM", with the best sound ever! This work, which captures the truth of the '88 live show from the audience seats, is definitely a monumental METALLICA collector's item. A 4-CD set that is a must-have for all metal fans is here!
