What a metallic feel. What a dynamic. What beauty. We have completed a live album packed with sounds that are closest to the meaning of the word "HEAVY METAL". This is... amazing! The main character of this album is METALLICA, the biggest metal band in history. Speaking of “the most metal live” in their career, there is no other than “DAMAGED JUSTICE TOUR”. Since their formation in 1981, they have climbed the ladder of success and improved their proficiency as a live band, but at one point they found their "groove" and fell into the dark side of "looseness". Just before that, “DAMAGED JUSTICE TOUR” was a live show that was “nothing but metal” even though it was the most greasy. It's different from the rough and wild of Cliff Burton's era and the 90's music that filled stadiums with excitement, and is a kind of metal that is narrowed down to the limit. It's like a rag squeezed out in a vise, it's stiff but not dry. It can also be said to be the “key point of METALLICA sound source” that enthusiasts who have been raped by this guy love. In order to pursue the tightness and sharpness to the utmost, a solid soundboard sound is absolutely essential. Until now, the Seattle performance of “LIVE SHIT” has been the sole focus, but I never expected that a sound source even tighter than that legendary video would appear! This work includes the Dallas performance of “DAMAGED JUSTICE TOUR” on May 2, 1989. It is an “official certified famous sound source” whose shortened version was released as “FAN CAN #4” by the official. Last year, the full-length recording (the second half of "Am I Evil?" and "Whiplash" are missing, but it seems that these were not recorded) was discovered and released as a hot topic. From the time of the excavation, it was thought that it would be impossible to create a sound better than this, but we began the remastering process thinking that perhaps something even better than this might be possible. As a result, it surpassed the ultimate. The engineer in charge was able to achieve a sound that he was proud of and said was a "perfect success!" Even though the original sound source only sounded perfect, once you listen to this work, you will start to notice how shabby it is because it is directly connected to the desk. When you press the play button, the theme from the movie ``The Gunman of the Sunset'' plays. The SE, which is often omitted even in LiveMetallica.com's official sound source, enhances the atmosphere and moves on to the intro of “Blackend.” The guitar harmony played on tape changes to a live guitar riff using the drum texture as a cue! James's silhouette floating in the spotlight is so delicious that it sounds as if it's right in front of you! Even though it's called "tight," it's completely different from the album "...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL," and the bass is rich and hits you right in the stomach. Not only in the intro and bass solo of the second song “FOR WHOMS BELL TOLLS” but also in other songs, the strong presence of the bass is truly reliable. The original charm of the song, which shines with a metallic luster, is dazzling, and once you hear the bass synchronized with the drums in the intro of “Eye Of The Beholder,” you won’t be able to go back to the studio version! I would like the old maniacs who were in a strange mood when "...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" was announced to listen to this work! It's not just about "...AND JUSTICE FOR ALL". This work is a metal final live show that includes classic songs such as "KILL 'EM ALL" to "MASTER OF PUPPETS". “Master Of Puppets,” “Seek & Destroy,” “Fade To Black,” and “Battery” are packed full of delicious features from each album. Hakubi is “Creeping Death”. Kirk Hammett is in good shape, with a fierce riff attack, a beautiful solo, and a free-flowing guitar, but above all, his twin vocals with Jason Newsted are really cool! Even if you don't like Death's voice, there are many people who would say this is different. It's hard not to understand why there are so many fans who still want to hear his voice when he's been so well-dressed. And, this recording (unfortunately) fades out in the middle of “Am I Evil?”. In order to alleviate the sad and sad feeling of ending, we have included a bonus encore song, “Whiplash,” which could not be recorded in this work. The sound source uses the classic soundboard from the Austin performance two days ago. You will be in for a surprise here. Surprisingly, the sound in the main version is better! Of course, I didn't intentionally lower the sound quality. If you have the Austin performance, you can listen and compare. Yes, this sound source is so great that it is even used as an official download! Repeat as many times as you like. We have created a super masterpiece that is not only at the official level, but even surpasses the official level! METALLICA later moved on to "de-metal". Lars Ulrich looks back on this tour and says, “I went too far,” but this work is full of “too much metal feeling.” It is no exaggeration to say that the breaking point that has evolved from the starting point of ``playing the riffs of DIAMOND HEAD like MOTORHEAD'' is the ultimate goal of ``HEAVY METAL.'' What is contained in this edition is the far north where one music genre has reached. "What a great band name. Because it has the magic five letters 'M.E.T.A.L.'" This is a live album where Lars' words resonate at the soul level. Live at Reunion Arena, Dallas, Texas, USA 5th February 1989 SBD(UPGRADE) Disc 1(57:45) 1. The Ecstasy Of Gold 2. Blackened 3.
