The best footage of METALLICA classics is here! This work was filmed at the "June 26, 1988 East Rutherford performance". It is a masterpiece audience shot from the "... AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" era, when he reigned as a master of thrash metal and was trying to break out of his shell. What makes it a masterpiece is its quality and the joy of the two-camera mix. Now that everyone is shooting, there are a lot of mix videos that are as good as professional shots, but it has only become popular recently. Naturally, in the 1980s, when it was difficult to secretly shoot the audience, there were very few multi-camera mix videos, and only four of METALLICA in the 1980s are known. Moreover, most of them are not of very good quality, and to be honest, they are all things like "Was that two cameras?" and "When will the next angle come out?" In fact, even if it is a multi-camera, there are almost no ones that can appreciate its value. However, "almost none" does not mean "completely zero". The only exception to this is this work. This work is a mix of two types of shots, a "front up" shot from the first floor stage and a "looking down" shot from the second floor on the right side (Kirk Hammett side), but the quality of each one is excellent! The "looking down" camera is particularly amazing. It continues to hold down the three front people, Kirk, James Hetfield, and Jason Newsted, from the side, and the image quality is abnormal. The natural and detailed image beauty and the freshness of zero dubbing degradation. The vividness is comparable to professional shots and modern digital cameras...or rather, it is so beautiful that it makes you wonder, "Is this really possible with a video camera at that time?" and "Isn't it a staff shoot!?" The other "front up" is also wonderful. This one is a video shoot from the 1980s and the image quality is sweet, but if it can be recorded up to this point, it's top quality...or rather, it's the type that says, "If it was the 1980s, this should be the best." In fact, this is also a beautiful master with no dubbing marks. And the mix editing of the two cameras is also wonderful. I guess the "front up" was shaking a lot due to the enthusiasm of the first floor seats, but all the shaky scenes were cut and replaced with "looking down". The ratio is half and half, and neither can be said to be "the main one", and the taste of both the "front up" that feels close and the super beautiful and super stable "looking down" continues without getting bored. Furthermore, there is no mistake in the sound. A special grade audience recording other than the two cameras is used, so the sound does not shake even in the enthusiastic image of the "front up", and the distant "looking down" is clear and direct. There is a cut that seems to be a tape change in the middle of "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)" and "Seek & Destroy", but there is a patch with a recording from the camera. The difference in sound quality makes you realize once again how wonderful the famous recording is. The quality is drawn in the early live performances that were glaringly metal even in the "... AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" era. Let's take a look back at that time for a moment. 《MONSTERS OF ROCK TOUR 1988》 ・May 27th - July 30th 1988: North America #1 (30 shows) ←★here★ 《DAMAGED JUSTICE TOUR 1988/1989》 ・September 11th - November 5th 1988: Europe (41 shows) ・November 15th - December 18th 1988: North America #1 (23 shows) ・January 11th - April 21st 1989: North America #2 (63 shows) ・May 1st - 6th 1989: Oceania (4 shows) ・May 11th - 18th 1989: Japan (6 shows) ・May 24th - September 23rd 1989: North America #3 (79 shows) 『LIVE SHIT』・October 4-7, 1989: South America (3 performances) This was a long tour with about 250 performances. There is also the official video "LIVE SHIT" from this period, but the East Rutherford performance in this work was more than a year before that. It is a pattern of "MONSTERS OF ROCK TOUR 1988" with VAN HALEN as the headliner. That's why "... AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" has not yet been released, and the only new song is "Harvester Of Sorrow". The set of thrash masterpieces, the ferocious momentum, the hot, intense and sharp edges, it can be said that it is rather the "MASTER OF PUPPETS" era. "... AND JUSTICE FOR ALL" opened up new ground while being metal to the end. The moment they created such a masterpiece and were about to take a great leap forward. This is a one that captures the progressive and super metallic darlings in the best real scene. Live at Giants Stadium, East Rutherford, NJ. USA 26th June 1988 AMAZING QUALITY 1.
