There are several other soundboards from the Cliff era. Among them is the "May 30, 1986 Davenport performance". Yes, this is a soundboard that contains the show the day after the Eau Claire performance. If the Eau Claire performance is a neat sound with official involvement, this work is a radical soundboard that underground excavation boasts. The creaking guitar is a super direct table direct system, and the noise that the on-site PA spits out is super real. The power of staying on the edge of the explosion and roar without crossing the line is amazing. Moreover, it is ferociously clear. The muddiness and distortion are only played by the band, and there is no cloudiness. The edge is terribly sharp, each riff approaches like a sharp hatchet, and the wave attack does not know where to stop like an electric saw. This sound is already insanely suitable for the violent METALLICA. The live performance, which rushes through songs far more complex than existing metal at a ferocious speed, is on the verge of collapse. The sound of this work, which is powerful but not explosive, combines with it to create an indescribable thrill and power of the limit. In "Welcome Home (Sanitarium)," James bursts out and the song is interrupted, but then Kirk's guitar breaks in and screams. This youthfulness. This recklessness. It's the sound of recording METALLICA in the 80s. Once you know this work, you can't go back to the neat studio version... It's such noise and violence art. In addition, it's nice that the set is different from the Eau Claire performance. In fact, the opening "Battery" is an incomplete version that was not recorded, but the rest are recorded in full. At the end, they also show "The Four Horsemen" and "Motorbreath", which were not performed at the Eau Claire performance the day before. Moreover, the destructive power of these two songs is incredible! In particular, "Motorbreath" is a representative early METALLICA number, but it was only performed on this day of the "DAMAGE, INC. TOUR". This is also Cliff Burton's last "Motorbreath". This work, which closes with such a fast-paced and extreme "Motorbreath", is a special sound board. A neat sound board and an extreme sound board left for two consecutive days. Including the super rare "Motorbreath", this is an extreme one that does not take a step back from the Eau Claire performance that is the talk of the town for enthusiasts all over the world.
