The giant MEGADETH has overcome the new coronavirus pandemic and is back on the move. Introducing the ultimate live set where you can enjoy the latest live performance. They are currently working on a coupling tour with LAMB OF GOD called “THE METAL TOUR OF THE YEAR”. That record has been appearing day and night, but this work is a two-performance master that excites collectors with its exceptional quality. This is a 2-disc set that includes super scenic shots of the "September 15, 2021 Camden performance" and a superb recording of the "September 18, Noblesville performance." As you know, the current MEGADETH has parted ways with Dave Ellefson, and James Lomenzo has returned. As we approach the release of our upcoming new album ``THE SICK, THE DYING... AND THE DEAD!'', we are gradually starting to decide on the dates for the release. To get an idea of what's going on, let's first take a look at the schedules that have been published so far. 2021/August 20th-October 2nd: North America (29 performances) ←★Here★《“THE SICK, THE DYING... AND THE DEAD!” on sale!?》2022/June 5th-30th Japan: Europe (6 performances) This is the 2021/2022 schedule known so far. The title of the studio's new work has been announced, but only the release date is unknown (it looks like it will be released sometime in 2021). The only live performance in 2021 was “THE METAL TOUR OF THE YEAR”, and the two performances of this work were the 17th performance (Camden) and the 19th performance (Noblesville) in the middle. The point of this work, which includes two such performances, is the shocking quality. Whether it's the video edition (DISC 1) or the live album edition (DISC 2), it is a master that is becoming a hot topic with people saying, ``This will be the No. 1 tour'' while there are still dates left. The impact was intense from the moment I played DISC 1. Anyway, it's so beautiful! This is an audience shot looking straight ahead at the center of the stage, passing directly over the heads of either the stand seats or the arena seats, giving you an absolutely spectacular view of the stage with no obstructions. In fact, if you pull hard enough, you can see that there is quite a distance, but the unusual resolution of the image completely erases that sense of distance. Even though it's a distant view, it's so clear that you can see every single hair and guitar string, and when you get up close you can see every single grain of LED on the stage screen. And a fierce sense of stability. In the latest close-up, Dave Mustaine's whole body fills the screen, but even if you shake it from side to side, there is no blurring at all. Are you using a tripod, or is this the camera shake prevention function of the latest equipment? Come to think of it, the music scene itself has come to a standstill due to the coronavirus pandemic, but technology has continued to advance during that time. I just didn't know about it because it wasn't filmed, but maybe this film is the "2021 standard." The full recording (DISC 2) of the Noblesville performance that follows such a transcendental video is also of outstanding quality. Anyway, it's very close and super tight. It seems to be recorded from the arena seats on the first floor, but the hall noise is minimal and the super thick core approaches your ears. Moreover, it is also extraordinarily beautiful. The sense of separation is so “standing” that it doesn’t seem like an audience, and no matter how powerful the band becomes, it doesn’t scare you at all. I think it's an audience recording because it absorbs too much real enthusiasm, but the essential performance sounds and vocals are completely official. This again makes me wonder, “How amazing is the customer record in 2021!?” Also, its direct feel and unusually vivid stereo feeling are important for the coupling of this work. The Camden video (DISC 1) also had clear audio, but due to the shooting position, I couldn't get rid of the sense of distance. On the other hand, although Noblesville Recording (DISC 2) does not have any video, its close contact with zero distance is unparalleled. They are truly two peak records that complement each other. What is depicted in Twin Peaks is a full show of the latest Megadeth, featuring Lomenzo. The sets for the two performances are slightly different, but let's summarize them here. Classics (9 songs)・Peace Sells・Last in Peace: Hangar 18/Tornado Of Souls/Take No Prisoners (★)/Holy Wars... The Punishment Due・Countdown to Ruin: Sweating Bullets/ Symphony Of Destruction・Cryptic Writings: She-Wolf/Trust Dystopia (3 songs)・The Threat Is Real/Conquer Or Die!/Dystopia *Note: “★” marks are for Camden performances (DISC 1) only. ...and it looks like this. There are no new songs from "THE SICK, THE DYING... AND THE DEAD!" as some had expected, and this is just an extension of the "DYSTOPIA Tour." Rather, the new flavor will be the ensemble created by Lomenzo's return. As an old fan, I have mixed feelings about watching MEGADETH without Junior, but Lomenzo's technique is definitely better. He has a deep understanding of classical music as he has come and gone, and his staging is also top-notch. In the intro of "Trust", both Mustaine and Kiko step down and sing Lomenzo alone to excite the audience. Anyway, the super beautiful images (DISC 1) and the super direct sound (DISC 2) are powerful. This is a luxurious set where you can experience two of the latest live performances with the "2021 quality" that has evolved before you know it. (Currently) A 2-disc set where you can enjoy the No. 1 video and No. 1 recording of the tour at once. A 2-disc audience set that includes a super scenic shot of the “September 15, 2021 Camden performance” + a superb recording of the “September 18, Noblesville performance”. Camden video (DISC 1) It's a spectacular view with no obstructions, but what's even more shocking is the unusually high image quality. It's so clear that you can clearly see every single hair, guitar string, and every single LED on the screen. The Noblesville recording (DISC 2) also has a superb sound that feels like an official work, and you can experience two entire performances of the latest live performance with a quality that will leave you wondering, “Are the audience standards in 2021 even amazing?” BB&T Pavillion, Camden, NJ, USA 15th September 2021 AMAZING-SHOT!!!
