Kiko Loureiro left due to family issues, and the new MEGADETH welcomed Teemu Mantusaari from WINTERSUN. Two superb professional shots that show their evolution will be released simultaneously. This second release contains two performances. It is a two-disc set that couples multi-camera professional shots of "GRASPOP METAL MEETING" on June 20, 2024 and "HELLFEST" on June 27, 2024. The point this time is the member change, and the legs are slightly different from the simultaneously released "BUENOS AIRES 2024". To organize that, let's first take a look at the overview of the current activities. 2023 February 24-28: Japan (3 shows) March 21-26: Australia (5 shows) March 31-July 15: North America #1 (16 shows) July 23-August 27: Europe #1 (19 shows) {Kiko Loureiro leaves → Teemu Mantusaari joins} September 6-October 6: North America #2 (14 shows) {Kiko officially leaves} 2024 April 6-30: Latin America (13 shows) ←※BUENOS AIRES 2024 June 5-30: Europe #2 (17 shows) ←★Here★ August 2-September 28: North America #3 (34 shows) Set of 2 shows with the latest professional shots This is the 2023/2024 schedule that has been announced so far. Kiko officially left the band at the end of last year's schedule. This year, they promoted Tame to the official guitarist and started the tour. The simultaneous release of "BUENOS AIRES 2024" was the opening "Latin America" leg, but the two performances of this work were "Europe #2" which began about a month apart. "GRASPOP METAL MEETING" appearance (DISC 1) was the 10th performance, and "HELLFEST" appearance (DISC 2) was the 15th performance. Both performances are famous metal festivals representing Europe, and the patterns are distributed with professional shot video. This work has been digitized from the best master. Of course, since it is the latest distribution, the quality is unquestionably "completely official class". The outdoor mood that starts at the high time of the day and rapidly fades at the end is also common. The atmosphere of "European summer festival" that is different from "BUENOS AIRES 2024" which was an indoor performance is also great. Two unique performances with different surprise songs Although these are two sister performances that are official substitutes, the sets are actually very different. Let's summarize the information here, including a comparison with "BUENOS AIRES 2024." Common to both shows (8 songs)・Last in Peace: Tornado Of Souls/Holy Wars... The Punishment Due・Countdown to Ruin: Skin O' My Teeth/Symphony Of Destruction・The Sick, The Dying: The Sick, The Dying... And The Dead!/We'll Be Back・Other: Rattlehead (★)/Peace SellsGMM (Disc 1) only・Countdown to Ruin: This Was My Life (★)/Countdown To Extinction/Sweating Bullets・Other: Hangar 18/Take No Prisoners (★)/Dread And The Fugitive Mind HELLFEST (Disc 2) only・Mechanix (★)/A Tout Le Monde/Kick The Chair (★)※Note: The "★" mark indicates a song that cannot be seen in the simultaneously released "BUENOS AIRES 2024". ...And so on. In "BUENOS AIRES 2024," they were attacking with their straightforward killer songs, but in "Europe #2," they started mixing in curveballs. "Rattlehead," which was back for the first time in six years, and "Take No Prisoners," which was back for the first time in two years, were fresh, but the highlight was "Kick The Chair" that popped out on "HELLFEST (DISC 2)"! This is their first big comeback in 15 years since 2009, when they were with Chris Broderick. Speaking of "Kick The Chair," it's a memorable song that was released as the first release of their comeback prior to "THE SYSTEM HAS FAILED." At the time, many people were excited to hear "intellectual thrash after a long time!" and "All we need is Mustaine." Now that Kiko is gone, they're playing hidden masterpieces as if to say, "Remember that time." Although the order has been reversed, "GRASPOP METAL MEETING (DISC 1)" may be more unique as a show overall. The main point here is the masterpiece "Countdown to Ruin". It's not an album reproduction, but the five songs, including "This Was My Life" and "Sweating Bullets", are quite rich. MEGADETH has not released an official live video since "COUNTDOWN TO EXTINCTION: LIVE" 11 years ago. This work is the latest superb pro-shot set that replaces such an official one. DISC 1 is rich in the color of "Countdown to Ruin", and DISC 2 is a tearful revival of "Kick The Chair". A two-disc set that couples multi-camera pro-shots from "GRASPOP METAL MEETING June 20, 2024 / HELLFEST June 27". Not only can you enjoy the new MEGADETH with Teemu Mantürsari, but you can also enjoy two performances with delicious surprise songs such as "Rattlehead" for the first time in six years and "Kick The Chair" for the first time in 15 years (!). It is an absolute video set that you can enjoy the whole two performances.
