Even when unplugged, God was God. The official video, which allows you to fully enjoy the exquisite acoustic guitar of the legendary guitarist god Michael Schenker, is reprinted with the highest quality ever. This work is a reprint of the official video work "UNPLUGGED" LIVE from the Japanese laser disc. Of course, it is a treasure that has never been officially released on DVD in the 24 years up to now. As with the previous laser disc reprint series, the mint quality version owned by a core collector was entrusted to an overseas analog video specialist manufacturer. It was made into a DVD with the best quality possible in modern times using high-end professional equipment and environment. The biggest point of this work is its extreme image quality and sound quality, but I have talked about it many times throughout the series so let's not repeat it. What I want to say more than that is the wonderfulness of the sight and music itself. The unplugged show contained in this work is a major turning point in Michael's entire career, and at the same time, it is the pinnacle of acoustic live performance. Michael first picked up an acoustic guitar at the end of 1991, while working on McAULEY SCHENKER GROUP's third album, "M.S.G.". The album was full of beautiful melodies that were particularly tear-jerking, even among McSG's works, and the final song, the ballad "Never Ending Nightmare," was finished with a bold acoustic arrangement. Feeling a sense of satisfaction from the fresh sound, Michael even produced the EP "NIGHTMARE: THE ACOUSTIC M.S.G.". Normally, he would tour with an electric band, but this EP was well received by both himself and his fans. He then began performing live, mainly unplugged, and released this album and the CD "UNPLUGGED" LIVE, and even disbanded McSG to pursue the acoustic path with his first solo album, "THANK YOU." I've gotten ahead of myself, but this is the unplugged show that Michael performed as McSG's final work. Until then, Michael had captivated us with his exquisite Flying V sound, but this work does not have "that" sweet and sad long tone. You might think that the charm would be halved by sealing away his trademark, but the notes spun there reveal only God's aesthetic sense. The beauty of the melody stands out even more, the sadness is even deeper, your consciousness is absorbed in the delicacy of each pick, and your soul melts into the vibrato and choking. Despite not borrowing the power of the electric guitar... no, it is because you do not borrow it that the beautiful world spreads so violently. When you think about it, even if you play a Gibson Flying V, not everyone can paint the beautiful world of God. It was Michael's aesthetic sense that made the Flying V shine. That aesthetic sense itself is painted with the highest quality ever, directly connected to the brain. It is not just Michael who shines with an unexpected brilliance. His partner at the time, Robin McAuley, also has an unparalleled voice in his entire career. Robin drove his veteran fans to the brink of despair with his pop-like "PERFECT TIMING" and his nightmarish hairstyle, but in this work he is truly worthy of being "the left side of God". The songs on the album are finished in a pop style with electric decoration, and the beauty of the melody itself is exposed, and the singing voice that spells it out does not need to be strained. When he sings, it stretches naturally, and even when he whispers, his husky emotion is clearly conveyed. Of course, his hairstyle is normal (wry smile). His wonderful and rich singing voice was described at the time as "reminding us of why Robin is working with Schenker," and this beauty is unmatched in his entire career. His delicate and powerful singing voice was not possible in McSG, nor in his origins, GRAND PRIX, or his later solo works, SURVIVOR, and ELEMENTS OF FRICTION. It is a superb video that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the world of lyricism. And the set that is the source of that beautiful world is also wonderful. "M.S.G.", the most beautiful cry of McSG, was reborn even more sadly in acoustic, and "Paradise" was also performed, which is not on the EP "NIGHTMARE: THE ACOUSTIC M.S.G.". This was the last McSG, and the repertoire of "M.S.G." was not performed at MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST. It is a precious live performance of hidden masterpieces (to be honest, the electric cry of "M.S.G." is too wonderful, so I wish they had done a normal tour...). Also, UFO, which cannot be heard on the EP, is wonderful. There are four songs, "Natural Thing", "Doctor Doctor", "Lights Out", and "Only You Can Rock Me", all of which have a vivid acoustic dynamism, and Robin's Irish voice shines. Listening to them side by side like this, UFO is unexpectedly pop, and you realize that the essence has not changed even in McSG. A precious acoustic live performance that was the catalyst for a major change in his career. This is the world's highest quality version of the official video that lets you witness that space. A "divine world of beauty" that does not rely on the Flying V. Now Live at the Anaheim Celebrity Theatre, Anaheim, CA. USA 25th March 1992 PRO-SHOT (58:35) 1. Intro 2. Anytime 3.
