Mark Knopfler's 2-disc tour de force "PRIVATEERING" swept the charts in Europe in 2013, showing strong popularity. A video work that allows you to experience the full show from special seats is now available. This work was filmed at the “Paris performance on June 27, 2013.” This is the spectacular audience shot. Speaking of the "PRIVATEERING" era, the joint tour with Bob Dylan also became a hot topic, but this work is a record of a solo tour that is different from that. In order to understand the circumstances around that, let's first unravel the schedule at the time and check the show's position. 2012/June 3rd: Performed at Hay Festival [“PRIVATEERING” released on September 3rd]/September 6th-26th: UK (3 performances) *October 5th-November 21st: North America #1 ( 33 performances) 2013, February 18: Gateshead performance, April 25-July 31: Europe (70 performances) ←★Coco★, September 27: Bridgeport performance, October 22-28 : North America #2 (6 performances) *Note: "*" indicates a joint tour with Bob Dylan. This is Mark Knopfler in 2012/2013. It may seem complicated when lined up like this, but in reality, there are many sporadic shows, and there are only two "tours" that repeat traveling and stages. After the release of the album, there was only ``North America #1'' with Bob Dylan, and the ``Europe'' leg that Mark did alone the following year. Of course, the Paris performance of this work is the latter. This was the 44th concert out of a total of 70 performances. This work, shot at such a show, is truly a sample of the spectacular scenery. The exact position is unknown, but from the angle it seems like it's a stand seat on the left side of the stage. Immediately after the performance begins, you can see (for a moment) the shadow of someone clapping from the seat next to you, but as soon as you figure out where Mark is standing, it quickly zooms in and stabilizes. There are no obstructions, and you can fully enjoy the show with a view of his upper body occupying the screen. And, not to be outdone by the spectacular view is the amazing sound. Anyway, it's beautiful and elegant. It's not a close feeling that can be mistaken for a sound board, but that doesn't mean it's far away. A bright core reaches straight into the center of the open air, just like the field of view, and the hall sound that rises like steam adds depth and dynamism. A large ensemble made up of 8 people with a variety of instruments such as flutes, violins, and accordions envelops your entire body, allowing you to thoroughly enjoy the subtleties and flavors that emerge from within. What is depicted with such a spectacular view and beautiful sound is a full show full of active feeling featuring "PRIVATEERING". In order to help you understand the sense of balance, let's organize the set here. 80's (4 songs)・Dire Straits: Romeo & Juliet/Telegraph Road/So Far Away ・Soundtrack: Father and Son 2000's (7 songs)・SAILING TO PHILADELPHIA: WHAT It Is・THE RAGPICKER'S DREAM: HILL Farmer's Blues/ Marbletown・SHANGRI-LA: SONG For Sonny Liston/Postcards From Paraguay・ALL THE ROADRUNNING: I Dug Up A Diamond (★)・GET LUCKY: Piper To The End Privateering (6 songs)・Corned Beef City/Privateering/Seattle ( ★) / Kingdom of Gold (★) / I Used To Could / Haul Away *Note: "★" marks are duets with Ruth Moody. ...and it looks like this. They also perform some killer songs from the 80's, but it's just a service. The main focus is the repertoire from ``SAILING TO PHILADELPHIA'' onwards, which is ``half classics + half new PRIVATEERING songs''. In particular, “Corned Beef City” was performed on the latest tour, but the other new songs are a repertoire that is unlikely to be expected in the future. Also, one of the most delicious and rare past songs is "I Dug Up A Diamond." It is a number from "ALL THE ROADRUNNING" co-starred with Emmylou Harris, and is a limited song that was only played solo in 2013. Ruth Moody also appears as a guest on "I Dug Up A Diamond." She is the singer of the folk/bluegrass group THE WAILIN' JENNYS, and is well known for being featured in their next album ``TRACKER''. She also participated in "PRIVATEERING" and shows off her delicate singing voice on three songs in this work, "I Dug Up A Diamond," "Seattle," and "Kingdom of Gold." Mark Knopfler's next work ``TRACKER'' achieved 3rd place in the UK for the first time since DIRE STRAITS. This work is a video work that allows you to experience the spectacular view of the stage where you reach the state of maturity. The ultimate 2-disc set that allows you to fully enjoy his full show from a special seat, even though he can't hope to come to Japan. Spectacular audience shot of "June 27, 2013 Paris Performance". From the stands on the left side of the stage, you can enjoy the show to the fullest with no obstructions and a view of his upper body occupying the screen. The sound is also beautiful and elegant. A bright core reaches straight into the center of the open air, just like the field of view, and the hall sound that rises like steam adds depth and dynamism. Featuring "PRIVATEERING," the show was full of liveliness and had a deep flavor, with Ruth Moody of the folk/bluegrass group THE WAILIN' JENNYS appearing as a guest on three songs, "I Dug Up A Diamond," "Seattle," and "Kingdom of Gold." .
