Marcus Miller, a charismatic bassist in the contemporary jazz and black music world, is scheduled to visit Japan in September this year. Marcus' bass playing is of course superb, as is his sense of improvisation and groove, and the performance is explosive with a number of numbers that incorporate strong elements of world music, making this a great 86-minute performance that is well worth listening to and watching.
