Mahogany Rush's only Osaka performance, held on December 8th, 1978, at Nakano Sun Plaza in Tokyo, was recorded in perfect high quality! Using the master cassette directly, Frank Marino's passionate performance, which is like the reincarnation of Jimi Hendrix, pulls the audience with his overwhelming guitar playing, is a must-listen for every song. The basic stage structure is almost the same as the album "LIVE" which was a big hit at the time, starting with "The Answer", followed by a series of familiar numbers such as "Dragonfly" and "I'm A King Bee", with a tremendous arrangement of "Johnny B. Goode" in between, and at the end, the signature song "World Anthem" and "Purple Haze", captivating the audience with a breathtaking and amazing live performance. The spectacular guitar performance, which explodes from Frank's Gibson SG, is full of mirror-like driving sound of hard rock, and every song is great. A must-listen for fans of '70s hard rock!
