A must-have and must-see for fans, this is a compilation of five programs recorded and broadcast during Madonna's first promotional visit to Japan in January 1985. At this time, only Madonna and her manager came to Japan (it seems that 48 people came to Japan for a promotion in 2005). The programs included are ``All Night Fuji,'' ``Night Hit Studio,'' ``11PM,'' ``Best Hits USA,'' and ``Music Fair.'' The first ``All Night Fuji'' was broadcast immediately after arriving in Japan. During the Saturday night recording of the show, Madonna complained that she was tired and didn't want to appear, but the person in charge of the record company (who was seen as her rival at the time) said, ``Cindy... There is an anecdote that he persuaded her by saying, ``Roper was also in the show.'' It was during this visit to Japan that the single "Like A Virgin" reached number one on the American charts, and it was at a time when it was at its peak, but although it was attracting attention in Japan, it was still new to Japan. A newcomer to Japan. Madonna appeared on numerous TV shows and in magazines over the course of a week, and this work realistically captures Madonna's appearance on a TV music program. All performances in the studio are of course lip-synced, but the sight of young Madonna miming energetically is a sight to behold. ``All Night Fuji'' has Madonna speaking in front of female college students, an unthinkable composition these days. Iyo Matsumoto asks, ``That's a wonderful promotion. What are your three sizes?'' and Madonna replies, ``That's secret information.'' It's a great conversation, but the camera shoots a close-up of her bust without permission. You can also see shots that would be unimaginable today. In "Night Hit Studio," you can also see a scene where Chiemi Hori is given a wristband by Madonna. This is a live broadcast of the performance, and you can enjoy valuable footage of Madonna, who is still in an innocent mood, performing while dancing and singing, but at around the 2 minute and 30 second mark, her hair tie comes undone due to the intense action. You can see Madonna's movements as she tries to pick it up while dancing. (In the second half of this song, it seems like he intentionally takes the action of untying his hair, but in this live broadcast, it comes off naturally, and you can see him changing the action in a hurry.) Best/Strongest Nanoha's ``11 PM'' is a show with a strong sexual appeal, and they carefully filmed the (used) hotel room where Madonna was staying, from the bedroom to the shower room. ``Unfortunately, nothing fell off.'' It's amazing that he pulls off such a great Showa gag. The appearances of commentators who have recently passed away, as well as their strong, humorous comments, are truly wonderful and extremely enjoyable. The precious 11PM original studio performance (Like A Virgin) is also great, but afterwards the (very beautiful) female host said, ``(As if to say, ``What kind of girl is this?'') You were saying something quite selfish. When filming the VTR, I only sing twice and I do a lot of action, so I told them to just shoot it.'' This comment was also inspired by the late Yasushi Ono's comment, ``There are many girls in Japan who can sing and dance like that.'' All of these comments, including the one that said, ``That's why I'm so excited about it,'' are the highlights of this time of year (lol). The interview on ``Best Hits USA'' was very decent as it is a genuine music program, and Madonna also responded to Katsuya Kobayashi's fluent English conversation. The last one is ``Music Fair'' (actual broadcast on February 17th), which is the most excellent and high-quality masterpiece video of a studio performance in Japan, and includes a Japanese translation. A first-class record. It's a 32-minute piece that any Western music fan will definitely enjoy. Rare Japanese TV compilation feat. Madonna First Promo Tour in Japan 1985 Programme #1 1.
