Madison/Unreleased 3rd Album Demo Sessions 1988

Swedish rock band MADISON, known for their potential as the second European band, released two albums and performed in Japan in 1987. This demo session features a previously unreleased third album recorded in 1988! This band produced legendary vocalist Göran Edman, who would go on to work with artists like Yngwie Malmsteen and John Norum. This demo was recorded with Pete Sandberg, who replaced Edman after Edman's departure. He also left the band shortly after, later making a name for himself with ALIEN and MIDNIGHT SUN, but the band disbanded in 1989. This release includes 10 tracks from that 1988 demo, plus two alternate versions of their final single, "Northern Light," released the following year. While the driving energy of their early days has faded and their sound leans more toward AOR, the clarity of their Scandinavian band has grown, making this a must-have for any fan of Scandinavian metal!
