A live performance between Les McCann, famous as an innovator of soul jazz, and the popular Vocalise trio Lambert, Hendrix & Ross at the Antibes Jazz Festival held in Juan-les-Pins, France on July 21, 1961. Completely recorded with the finest stereo soundboard sound source broadcast locally in recent years. The first five songs are performed by the Les McCann Trio, and the last four songs are performed by Lambert, Hendrix & Ross. Les McCann's early performance, which follows the flow of Oscar Peterson, and a live collaboration with Lambert, Hendrix & Ross, who popularized the singing style known as Vocalise, in which lyrics are added to jazz instrumental performances without songs.
