Leon Russell passed away at the age of 74 at his home in Nashville, Tennessee on November 13, 2016. Since the late 60s, he has participated in recordings by many musicians as a session musician and producer, and established the swamp music that had a great influence on Clapton, George Harrison, and the Stones. By the early 70s, he had already become a charismatic figure. This is a tribute to him, and it is a direct recording of the original master cassette of the live performance on November 9th, the second day of the Budokan concert held on two consecutive days since his first visit to Japan in 1973. It is a 109-minute reproduction of the performance, which was a big topic at the time, with good quality for the time, and the live album released officially was recorded on the first day, November 8th, and has been edited, so this is truly a real live performance. The first three songs of the live show were performed by Shelter People, and Leon appeared on stage playing the guitar from the fourth song "Heaven", and the full-scale performance began after the medley of "Over The Rainbow". After that, the familiar medley-style stage unfolded, and in the medley of "Jumpin' Jack Flash" that was popular at the "Concert for Bangladesh" at the time, contrary to the notation on the jacket at that time, the correct song was not "Youngblood", but "Searchin'", which was also featured by the early Beatles.
