The popular 1970s American music program "THE MIDNIGHT SPECIAL" has recently released some of its precious footage, and this time, Leon Russell's performance from July 1974 is recorded in official quality for a total of 2 hours and 15 minutes. Moreover, it was recorded in two performances, with Disc: 1 featuring only him and his band live on July 16th of that year, as a promotional performance for the release of the album "STOP ALL THAT JAZZ". Here, he is on stage with his own band, the Gap Band, and it is surprising that live footage of this lineup has been preserved, making it such a valuable video. Disc: 2 records Russell's appearance at the country music festival hosted by Willie Nelson on August 2nd, and while the previous performance had a soul-funk sound, this time it is a complete change to a country world that is typical of America.
